DTEC - The New V27 Wind Turbine at DTU Campus Risø

🍃 We now have a new research wind turbine at campus Risø. The installation started yesterday afternoon, and the blades were on this morning at ten. Check out the skilled workers from #Vestas assembling the tower, nacelle, and blades in no time. The #V27 turbine will be part of the hybrid power research facility under the collaboration of the #DTU-TotalEnergies Excellence Centre of Clean Energy (DTEC). With three wind turbines on site, we can now research wind farm control, wake effect, and more.
Congratulations to DTEC Head of Centre Gregor Giebel and Facility Manager Kasper Wartenberg Martens, our HPP research pioneers Poul Sørensen and Kaushik Das, and the rest of the DTEC team.
The #HPP will be inaugurated in mid-October.
