Did you crop the photos to a certain size and specific resolution before putting them in your collection. Simple, succinct and easy to understand tutorial.....one of the best I would say
Hi Barb thank you. My method with the custom text is to use the caption field in metadata. Type in the custom data as a caption then at the bottom of the slide set the ABC field to caption. Then each slide will display what you put in the caption field. Hope that helps
Quick Question. When I save the slideshow at 480x270 916:9) it saves very quickly, no problem. But when I try to save it at 720p (16:9) the progress bar starts and then doesn't move at all. No matter how long I let it process. I need the higher quality pic. Any idea why this is an issue?
There does not appear to be an option to put different text on each slide or to rearrange the order in Lightroom slideshow. Is that correct? This would significantly restrict its usefulness.
Hi Warwick, yes you can place a custom text field on each slide as well as a field containing information from your metadata. If you create a collection with the slides you wish to use you can change the order of the slides by dragging and dropping on the timeline..
Hi Manar In a collection you can change the slide order by dragging and dropping the images to the positions you want either from the Grid View or the Filmstrip.

Hi, Sorry I am not too helpful, no idea why it stops, I use high res images and it does take time to render but I have not known it to stop.
Thank you

Thanks. But is that different text on each slide to explain what it is or one common text field for all the slides?
How can we change the slide order?
