I love how in this game there is no fine line between good or evil, just flawed humans who have endured pain, loss and are broken as a result, but despite it all they survive, for the ones they do care for. Joel is in no way a hero, he's not a villain either, he's a guys who has suffered the cruelty of this world and has lost everything as a result, but still maintains the ability to care and endanger himself for others (Ellie). You know that there are others who exist in the game who are similar in circumstance and are surviving just the same, but you can't help but root for both Ellie and Joel, even at the risk of a lack of cure for humanity. Marlene wasn't bad, but you can't help but on some level support her end, if it preserves the safety of these two.
I hate you. I hate you so much for making me cry. My goodness. You should make trailer like videos and get payed for them damnit! You made a story telling edit with such beautiful details like coloring, blurs, B&W, etc.. All these subtle details don't go unnoticed! The way you presented it is so gravitating. This is the best game to ever exist and there will never exist a game that will be at least half as good as this game is ever again. The most beautiful game with the most beautiful story, and amazing scenes and the characters are so well made that we are able to love them and feel their pain. The plot is sensational and every single line was perfect. The details to every single move the characters made was so realistic that we could understand what exactly they were feeling. It is so emotional. Very well made. I feel like this game has affected positively my life. I can't wait for the last of us part 2. I hope that they won't mess it up with the characters and the story.
