And even though emotions are a mix of shivering wonder, heartache, unfathomable love and overwhelming sadness, you'd rather linger and experience all that all over again than go back home? That's how it felt watching this.

That climax was just everything. The moments of tenderness you snuck in there in between all the brutality was so good! Not many words needed to be spoken, you just let the song speak for itself and match up the scenes accordingly.. And the way you were holding back the action, letting it start slow, letting it build up into that crescendo where the SCENES actually match up WITH THE MUSIC! As it gets louder and louder and then goes back down again ever so gently.. All in all, ✨chefs kiss✨ This convinced me to start watching more of these edits on youtube cuz this is going straight to my favorites playlist!

The last minute of this...I have no words. Editing those tiny moments of happiness and comfort between the extreme violence, and the music. it just is so heartbreaking. this is really really good

the first thing i noticed about this edit is that it's so quiet. so quiet and peaceful, i felt really immersed. up until 3:26 when everything, ALL the feelings come crushing down at once. all the anger and fear I felt, all the happy little moments. you did such a good job summarizing the journey that is the last of us.

This is hands down an absolute masterpiece. To capture the beauty, pain and essence of it all, to make something painful even more hurting, to contain the very emotion and narrowing it down from the hours long episodes to five minutes is a work of art. Editing these clips with this song (perfect song choice btw *chef's kiss*) has to be one of my top cinematic experiences. Thank you for making this. Keep up the great work!

this whole piece is gorgeous and im literally blown away. but 3:26 onwards is a whole new level. the beat drop, the violence and gunshots and screaming interspersed by little scenes of dancing and gentleness was just.. the emotions conveyed, the way joel would do anything to protect ellie and the ferocious reality of their world dotted with the moments of comfort that show how real they are as characters.. i think its safe to say i will never see anything as beautiful as this ever again. major kudos to you

The two clips of Joel holding Sarah to the one where he tackles the guard and then in the hospital, I took it as since Joel couldn’t save Sarah he’s gonna take every chance he gets to save Ellie. And the song fits so well, beautiful choice. I’m crying my eyes out thank you for making and sharing this. I’m in pain but so inspired.

I can not begin to express how much this show and these characters as well as this song and this artist mean to me. This edit is my two favorite things combined and it could not be more perfect. The emotions this song brings out it me were exactly represented by the selection of clips from the show and both capture the most raw and vulnerable emotions a human can feel. There is something about this and the show and the game that has reached me in a way that very little has. They have so uniquely illustrated how even when the world ends, joy can still be joy, pain can still be pain, love can still be love, and humanity can still be all these things in which make it human. I think it has something to do with how the infected are so incredibly inhumane at their core that accentuates the humanity in those that are still holding onto it. The characters feel love, joy, and pain so deeply because it is what they have that makes them human, to assure them that they are not monsters. When the sky is collapsing in on us we must hold on to what we have that helps us know we are still under it, and we are still real, because if not how would we know we are still human?

Wowww as someone who's a beginner in making edits this is so amazing and impressive. The transition at 3:27 made me audibly gasp! And I loved the mix of dramatic, emotional scenes with scenes of joy after that moment, that hasn't been used in a lot of other edits I've seen and it was really effective.
