    Seems to work for Leon Draisaitl lol. He’s a pro I know. Good vid again. Can’t wait to see the trigger 5 vid.

    The biggest concern I have with Warrior sticks is that lately they've been releasing an updated SL (superlight) version of the stick 4 months later at the same price. Happened with the QRE and the DX. Hopefully they stop doing that.

      @HockeyReviews  4 года назад +2

      I agree that the SL releases are odd and I am not a fan of them. They aren't even the same sticks and are misleading. The SL sticks are made in China vs Mexico and usually aren't the exact same specs. The DX SL was heavier than the DX was 🤦‍♂️

      I just grabbed a couple of QR Edge SL's for $160 CAD each. It weighs 400 grams and feels awesome. But yeah, I wouldn't pay $350 for any new stick. The prices of sticks have exceeded my budget. Just weight a season and grab a stick that was released a year ago for 60% off the msrp.

    On sale $200 cad. good idea? I keep breaking my sticks and I need somthing strong

      It is a solid stick for that price. But you might be able to find some of the recent Sherwoods for cheaper from Sport Chek that are a better deal. If not, this is still a good stick but the 6 is right around the corner and the QR5 Pro will be droping in price.

    Which stick is stiffer in flex 75/77 covert qre10, jetspeed ft3 pro, nexus geo or hyperlite? Where is qre10 with stiffness?

    • @HockeyReviews
      @HockeyReviews  2 года назад

      Retail sticks have a flex tolerance in them, so everyone's experiences are going to vary. But from my recent usage of sticks all the big companies were similar for flex ratings

      @@HockeyReviews but for example vapor hyperlite flex 77 is softer (easier flexing) than nexus geo flex 77. Is qre10 similar like vapor hyperlite or is stiffer? flex number i75/77 is same but what feelings do you have?

    • @HockeyReviews
      @HockeyReviews  2 года назад

      They flex is the same between them all. Hyperlite isn't easier flexing than a Geo from what I have used.

    Nice review, overall, do you think Warrior is a step above Sherwood? I’m comparing the M90 vs the QRE.

    • @HockeyReviews
      @HockeyReviews  4 года назад +1

      Yes, Warrior is a step above Sherwood. I personally didn't like the QRE at all, but the QRE 10 is a solid improvement.

      @@HockeyReviews is it better than the Alpha Dx?

    • @HockeyReviews
      @HockeyReviews  3 года назад

      @@ferdblu1946 I'd say slightly different sticks. If you want a very low kick stick the Covert line is better than the DX.

    Thank you, I still haven't found a replacement for QRL, would u say this or FT3 is a better replacement?

    • @HockeyReviews
      @HockeyReviews  4 года назад +2

      I think the FT3 Pro is a better overall stick... but I think the QRE10 is closer to the QRL than the FT3 is.

    I wish people would stop buying sticks at this price point. IMO its getting out of hand especially with minimal changes from year to year. Not only that its raising the price of low end sticks because they look like a bargain compared to the top of the line. But the truth is that none of these sticks can replace the gains from putting in the work and repetition on a consistent bases.

    • @HockeyReviews
      @HockeyReviews  4 года назад

      I agree with the increasing of price... but that is kind of how inflation and capitalism works.
      But I don't ever see me or most people saying buying a piece of gear will make you better than practice.
