Fantastic. Thx. for this vid as well as for all the others. Yes Paul. Pls. make a full tut. Wolementor is exactly what I need. Would also be interesting how it works with bulk-import/export of products/categories. Go, go, go. Rgds., Thomas
Terrific videos, nice to see that Woo Commerce pages can be customized a bit further. As a user of Thrive Architect and Theme Builder it is really nice to be able to customize pages so being able to do more with Elementor and Woo Commerce is nice.
Thanks again Paul! Sorry for asking but whats going on with you & Crocoblock? They seems great & better but you kind of moved away? $ or issue? (Asking as Im on the way to go all in on them)
Everything is cool with Crocoblock. In fact I'll be releasing the first of a series of sponsored tutorials for them later this week. I like to cover tools I think are useful and add value to us as designers and can help us create more unique and personal designs for us or our clients. Woolementor, while still a young product, shows a lot of promise for those looking for more control over WooCommerce. 😁
Second. And sorry to say but Im not a designer or web guy. Main part I know & can do in WP is thanks to you. (So in one sense I dont give a f***, just want the best :) ) 3d: Is my belief. I want to bet on the right hourse and I think Elementor is that one. They create the highway for me, then I see that Crocoblock take their back and really developed during the last year... so I play my cards on them. Right or wrong, I will see.... But my wishes is that you are teaching me on my journy! The best to you Paul! Thanks!
Thank you! Exactly what I what needed. Would like to learn more about better sidebar navigation, filters, etc... to quickly navigate category pages and drill down.
I'll be doing a stand-alone tutorial on a free WooCommerce search and filter plugin which I'm hoping will be uploaded today. I'll also be including filtering as part of the dedicated Woolementor build tutorial coming soon. :0)
Hello! I liked the idea of the categories like in your video. My problem is, that if I get to the subcategory the products don’t get shown, just the same categories. So at min 13:48 you have the subcategories on top and under them you have the products of the certain category. I instead have on top the subcategories and under them the same again, although I used the widget products. Could you help me please?
Would be great to have a video that takes us through the setting up of all the categories, subcategories, etc. so that the 'correct' products show up in the cart etc. - Love your tuts, by the way - Thanks
Hi, Thanks for this tutorial, I am looking for a Hero Section sliding with an image which covers 60% left side and on the right side to have custom-built products details with discount offer button, so that they can go the product checkout page and one more is that I have gone through 2 plugins which Woolamentor & WooLentor, in WooLentor we do not have on landing page customers to view multiple images of the same product and looking for mobile friendly, can you suggest me any plugin which will suit my need, I don't mind pro. Thanks and awaiting your earliest reply.
Just purchased the woolementor plugin. Yeah I'm interested in your custom woolementor pages and Tutorials with also some Dynamic 00 plugins in the mix..
Hi Paul!! All of your videos are so interesting!! So, how can we customize a product page in order to add options to choose by user, like different kind of "frabric" as image Dropdown, for a forniture ecommerce? Thanks a lot in advance for your help!!
Good Video, I would love a video on setting up woo commerce and proper permalinks so i can avoid odd errors. I understand my home(shop) page will not be pointing at the woo commerce created shop page but in settings woo commerce asks for the shop page and if I tell it the one I want I cannot edit it anymore.. am i supposed to just leave it blank and if so how should permalinks be set?
Nice tutorial, is there a breadcrumbs style navigation with this plugin so that after looking at T-Shirts you could quickly go to hoodies or the main list of categories?
Good video , i want to mention that if someone does not have elementor pro , then the second part of the video can't really help cause you can't add a new archive template , but i have a selution here with the free plugin called " Woolentor " that will alowyou to create the archive page and asign it as the default one ..
Yes please, more woocommerce Tips & Tricks. Also, how do you do when you already have a theme such as Astra already installed or what would be the issues or benefits of this?
Excellent video! Had a tough time figuring out how to edit my woo subcategories with the elementor display options, giant help, especially with the "current query" part.
Hi Paul , Thanks for all your great tutorials, they are much needed and appreciated I have a silly question as I'm confused. I'm trying to set up a marketplace.....products, services, travel, & listings. Do i set up a separate landing home page for each of the main categories above and also a separate shop and archive pages for each category above? my main home page would then list the main categories and then take them to a landing page where they would be able to choose what they would like. Hope that makes sense:) thanks for any help or pointers
Thank you WPTuts!! I am well on my way in creating a new website using your tips. I was wondering if there's a way with this method to create a woocommerce product category specific header. seems like any header i make would be the same for each category
Thanks. I knew you'd be able to do something different. I am investigating replacing JetWoo Builder with Woolementor. Jet just seem to resource-heavy. A full Woolementor video would be appreciated :)
Paul, give us a complete tutorial on Woolementor. It seems to be a very nice plugin that will help a lot in solving details that Elementor Pro alone cannot.
Great video. Thank you. The only problem I'm getting is, when I click 'Add to Cart', there's a banner that says 'Product has now been added to your cart' and then there's a 'View Cart' button, but this banner is half hidden under my main menu in the header at the top of the page. Do you know how I can move this banner down beneath the main menu in the header, so I can see the whole banner?
Followed the instructions and all looked well but when I went back to edit with Elementor it said Content Area Not Found. Am I missing something?? I've had an issue with one of your previous tutorials aswell. Could something be overriding things maybe? I'm using Astra theme
I can't seem to activate Pro Woolementor after paying for the pro version. I save the settings and when I go to edit my page it won't allow me to use the pro widgets. Please help me.
Great as always and I am interested in a full woolementor tutorial too. I do have a problem with the online store page, the categories always show the image and right on top of the image is the product title and # of products. I have not figured how to put that info on the bottom of the image.
Hi Paul, Really struggling with this... I have set up a shop page which uses the Woolementor features and looks exactly the way I want it to when I navigate to it... but, when I then set this as the shop page in WooSettings, I get the content error... I simply can't figure out what's going on and any pointers would be really welcome
Hi, very interesting...but I tried to apply your tutorial (following it step by step for many times) I found the issue that when I get into the archive products page and click on a subcategory...the result is that all the subcategories disappears in the filtered products...I'm asking myself where I'm doing it wrong...thank you!
HI .. I need you some solutions. Have you solve? I have some products to sell by weight and some other by unit. How can I set the price by weight or by unit? Is there a Plugin? In Cart Page.
Can I add another filter plugin to this page that can filter by product s attributes with this? I have done that with WooLentor but when i add the filter plugin or use the filter from the woocommerce plugin it does not work(it works only for the normal category pages)
Mr. Paul, I am facing a problem. I have Astra theme and if I install Woolenmentor plugin, it doesn't work, rather let me explain that after installing/activating the plugin, if I go to home page with Elementor, the Elementor element section doesn't load (Constant loading). But I want Woolenmentor, please advise.
This was amazing, thank you!! I do have a question about how you got the ‘shop’ page to show the category image then have the name of the category then the number of products? Mine seams to have put the name and product coins onto of the image. Going insane trying to work this out 😣
Hi Paul, yet again another great tutorial! Quick question, can you tell me what would be the disadvantage "the con" if when adding products in Woocommerce I ticked both the Parent Category and the Child Category for a product. How would this effect the filtering? Also if both are ticked does this impact what is displayed when you select "Product Terms" in the dynamic options?
I am attempting to combine the custom skins product archive with the category pages but when I do, it limits me to two products per page when I am calling for 4 columns up to 24 posts per page. I believe this happens when I set the Custom Query and I tested with a standard Product page and it did the same thing. Am I missing a setting?
I have a problem and I want to ask, I set my columns in Desktop is 3 columns and in mobile is 1 column, but why when I see it on mobile. It shows 3 columns, not 1 column? Do you know where the problem is? Thank you.
Im stuck... I added categories and I was able to manipulate query. When I added the products per instruction query is not available. What am I doing wrong?
Any idea on how to do a custom post type category grid for free via Elementor Pro? Just like Paul did here, but displaying "Resource categories" for instance.
My client needs to customize in this beatiful example the information inside the product some items have only ONE PRICE, other have ONE PRICE and the PRICE WITH DESCOUNT, how i can enabled this
I want to show products in a grid view with all the variation and quantity plus-minus option plus add to the cart on shop and product archive page. Please suggest me a good plugin thank in advance 🙌
I try to choose the category i want in the query “by parent” but it’s not showing my categories. It’s show only the one that came with the template. Maybe because I use different language? Or maybe because there are no items under that category? Please help 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Great video Paul I hope your are OK - please can you a video how to do a build a woocommerce website with the BEST free theme.
