- Hey guys, got my test results back and I was positive for COVID19. I wanted to talk about what it was like, how the symptoms progressed, this is something I wish I had while I was going through this. I am COMPLETELY fine btw, except for my sense of smell. I made my test results my thumbnail, I figure this is my way of fact checking myself.

I made an even more detailed post on my facebook if you're curious:

As a high risker with brain cancer I am very very cautious. Unbelieveably I know 13 people who have had it, and I have lost 5 friends and relatives to it. It’s real and it’s mean. God bless you!
So, like at 4:37 when I literally rub my eye, please don't do that.
Achievement Unlocked, lol!
Thank you for sharing, it's good to know what a "light" version is feel like. Get well and stay healthy.
Thank you!
Thanks for sharing! Glad you recovered! Esper snoozing in the background so cute
Im so happy ur alive
Thank you!
Get well and stay safe, hugs to esper🐶
I've had it too, still can't smell or taste properly but is't slowly getting better. I had a somewhat different order and magnitude of symptoms to yours, but I'd say my experience was comparable on the whole. Coughing, tiredness and some fever. My entire closest family caught it at almost the same time; my mother spent a week in the hospital. I hope we are all (you too!) done with covid-19 for now.
Oh man! So happy you are on the mend!
Praying for u man😁😁❤
I did not know you had it.
Please be careful, lots of people I know who’ve had it have it get relapses. They think they are all better, then suddenly they are much worse.
I've been symptom free now for nearly two weeks, and am going to start donating plasma as soon as I can. I am cautiously optimistic at this point =)
I hope you are okay man 🙏🏻
Feeling 100% now, just cant smell a damn thing.
Jacob Chattman Ah. Get well soon buddy.
Well the only good thing is that you probably won’t get it again. (Learned that in science).
How do they do the testing cause my gfs mom works at a hospital and is in charge of it where she works and ive been thinking of going to get it done
Here in California you can sign up to get it as long as you are presenting symptoms - the test just requires saliva and the place I did it you just did it right in your car.
Has your taste and smell come back
Starting to! Slowly! Can actually smell some things today.
Jacob Chattman how long did it take for your smell to come back??
Jessica Shaw it came back partially within 3 weeks, but I’m still hampered, maybe 30% of what it used to be
Sorry... I got distracted by Esper’s sweet face
Don't blame you at all.
