This has been a lifesaver for me as someone with ms. I would spend so many days couch bound and in severe pain from bad headaches and migraines. Within a couple weeks I noticed a difference and now three months in I think I have had maybe one day with a mild headache.
I was placed n this med for Fibromyagia nerve pain and for horrible migraines that would last days at a time. I was warned not to try and do much the first few days. Took about a week for the loopiness to level off, but was fine. This med definitely helps control the migraines and helps me to sleep a normal amount every night. It is a very helpful drug ~

Magnesium is best for muscle relaxation and Tachycardia, take it in the morning and evening before bed. It will take a bit of time (like a week or so to work) but definitely worth the try. My Doctor prescribed it to me and it worked. Sometimes lack Of vitamins, like B12 and Magnesium, in your body will cause a lot of damage. B12 is good for nerves, of course in low doses. Nice to hear the effects from someone who has taken this medicine. Doctor has offered this because of nerve pain due to bulging disks in back and neck. I worry about how addictive this drug is, is it addictive? It’s the only thing stopping me from trying it.
I have never became addicted to anything, but here's the thing about addiction... if you have pain and something takes it away, you don't want to stop using it, right? So if it works and you can't live normal without it, go for it... 2 weeks in myself and hasn't really helped yet... but I'm optimistic... anything is better than the headaches from percocet...
Thank you, after a year being offered this drug I have now been taking it for a week hoping it will help nerve pain. So far so good, not much pain relief yet, I know it takes few weeks to feel effects. Prescribed for nerve pain after failed back surgery. This drug is evil. Caused me horrendous tinnitus and caused me to have road rage. Hearing problems and aggression are a listed side effect. When I reported this to the doc, he upped the dose. HUGE MISTAKE. side effects worsened and it didn’t help with the nerve pain. I’d much rather live with the pain than deal with tinnitus and aggression, something I’ve never had before. It’s an antidepressant type drug and NOT a pain reliever. If you’re not depressed, DONT TAKE IT
I'm picking up this medication in a few minutes today, I'm afraid to start this pill. The side effects I'm hearing are scaring me. I'm already suffering from clogged ears and so I definitely don't need to experience any ringing in the ears. Ugh I don't know about this pill. I was prescribed this by my neurologist who suggested it would help with my head pressure thats cause probably by migraines or tension type headache. And he also also did ask if I sleep at night and I said rarely, i struggle and then he gave me 10mg to take once every night before bed.

God bless are you still on it ? I'm contemplating Anthony from Toronto You in the Toronto area

And he also also did ask if I sleep at night and I said rarely, i struggle and then he gave me 10mg to take once every night before bed.
some people feels good after using this medicine.. but some faces side effects of this medicine... i know a person who has pain below ear, no other problem, his sleep cycle was good.. doctor gave hi amitriptyline... after completion of dose sleep problem started..
you still on this? How's it going?
I suppose to take it for migraines. I don't want to take it. I am scared
Have a chat to your doctor about it and what else they might suggest if you’re uncomfortable with it :)
I just started this medication a week ago for my migraines. 1 pill 10 mg @ night. It’s been a week and I want off of it 😞 Sleeping good, but I’m so dizzy, dry mouth, eye pressure and constipated. I’m so drowsy and my eyes hurt my brain when they move. Ah! How are you doing on it?
@@gabih7481 I am not going to take it. The only medication that works for me is Maxalt. The only problem I take it more than I should, and I ran out of it quickly
@@ola6482 it works well!!
I was prescribed 10mg for ibs and I feel like it has made me really depressed. I really wouldn’t recommend this medication because of the side effects
:o oh flip - are you getting off it?
@@Krys579 I just messaged my doctor about getting off it, but I think I may just stop taking it on my own. I’ve been on it for a little over 3 weeks and I’ve been feeling sad/anxious :( too much stress already with ‘rona world and ibs, ya know
Do u have tmj too?
