CORRECTION: You will only have the two empty squares BEFORE bubbling for the first time. After the first bubbling, all squares will then be occupied. That's why I could not find any empty squares, but I didn't realize it back then.

Did you lose the 1k coins in your coin storage (it decreased when they were bubbled), when you did that?
More than a year ago, the answer was YES (at least from what I remember). But recently, that is no longer the case. Once you bubble a vault and you have more coins than the remaining unbubbled vaults can hold, the extra coins will be "spurted out" by the bubbled vault. Those coins will themselves be contained in a separate bubble that you can pop later once you have available space.

you can get it from golden trees. To get a golden tree, you need to start with golden seeds, which water or any higher level pond spit out every now and then.

Bad Idea cause If no space to sleep Game will crash
Just keep a single level 1 tree house so that the dragons will still have a place to sleep. Then you can bubble the rest of the tree houses in order to make them cheaper again from the store.
What if you dont have a camp full of items 😡
