    Hey Guys, great walk, beautiful weather. That old photo of Fisherman’s Huts? I like the Historical photos, especially when a split screen is used for "then and now " images. Looking forward to more.

    Been living in Selsey 45 years same bungalow got married to lccal born Selsey Girl Carole we had 43 great years together lost her 2020 in May i am local retired Baker and chef of 22 years i photograph local Selsey walks wildlife and landscapes as a hobby also Raf Selsey ALG research i have a few of the Spitfire pilots Books of RNZAF 485 Squadron based here in 1944 .The famous Spitfire ML407 OUV piloted by Selsey based Johnnie Houlton flew from Selsey D-Day June 6th 1944 shot down the first German Aircraft a JU88 Bomber.

      Sounds like a wonderful life you both had together. Great that you keep an interest in Life, learning to Cook has been a great hobby in retirement for me, thanks for the post.

      @@Julian-1111I moved from Headley lived in ASHTEAD,AND EPSOM went to school in Leatherhead , in the 60S came to West Sussex to HIGHLIEGH Chichester as had TB to stay in my Dads cottage.We scattered my Dads Ashes 1992 in the Solent on a trip on our Selsey Lifeboat The City of London from the offshore station in 1972 did my driving lessons BSM EPSOM NEW FORD Anglia 105e.Used to fish in the pond in Tadworth in 60s.

      @@user-xj5cg5cy1v I grew up on the "estate" at Tadworth and went to DeBurgh Secondary School till 1964, 3 years later our family moved to California (I was 18). The Pond you fished in was probably Burgh Heath, me too. Worked at Ronson’s as an Apprentice Toolmaker before leaving for San Diego. We all had enjoyable lives, I’m happy to say.

      @@Julian-1111 I used to fish the River Mole back of Ronsons ,spinning for pike one day my spinner snagged something me and my late brother dragged out a Vespa Scooter .Sister in law lived by Ronsons factory in Randals Road .most of my classmates when we were leaving Leatherhead school went to work for Ronsons i still have my Dads big silver TABLE LIGHTER .great memories small world as well .

      My uncle lived in cleeve road in Leatherhead and worked for Ronsons too. I remember he had a fancy gold lighter from them.
