Drainages should be cleared, desilt, cleaned and covered. Also electricity supply in homes should be there as well not only street lights.
Thanks to God that the governor is trying his best and to whom more is given, more is expected.

Well done to Alex Otti, God bless you.
I really do wish the people can keep their streets clean. The drainages will gradually get filled with dirt if the people don't take responsibility.

Same people will be mandated to clean it during sanitation

It's good to see the street lights working. Beautiful cities attract a lot of tourists. With security, good transport and telecoms, tourists from western countries will come to Nigerian cities and towns for holidays.

Governor Otti is trying, the challenge I have with him and his workers is that they are not people of fashion and style. Development in this 21st century shouldn't be reflecting 18th and 19th century fashion, covered drainages should be a paramount duty, planting of trees, cctv installations and good lightening, should be major task to achieving a modern developed city, of the 21st century. Let him give us modern and not ancient.

@@Kingsfed it's people like you that is the reason why politicians don't take the citizens serious. What is wrong in doing something and doing it very well? Have you not heard that "what is worth doing is worth doing well", stop being archaic, the world is not waiting for you.

Installing street lights is not the problem. The major problem is maintaining them.
