Hi Jeff! Yesterday I went to my closest motorcycle accessory shop to get me some shin leg guards. I'm going to have to wear them for meow on all because last Thursday I got bit by a big steroided up pit bull that chase, and took a chomp on my leg while I was on my bike delivering. I had the Sheriff, medics, and animal control come because it was really bad. My leg was drenched in blood, but out of all that I still finished up on my delivery. After the bite I followed the big dog to where it's home was, and luckily the owner came out where that beast of a dog almost attacked me again, he stopped it right in time. I'm okay meow. I had to go to Urgent care to get a tetnace shot, and some meds on the bite area. Luckily it was just a deep punchure wound, and not a meat tear. Like I said I bought leg shin guards, and I got a retractable baton so I could fend myself if I see a big scary monster dog again on my routes. It's a shame the dog might be put away, it's all the stupid owner's fault not putting the dog away in the house, or on a leash outside. Also the way the owner bashed the dog with a wrench when it's was bad no wonder the dog is so freaking aggressive. Well, I meow got the gear so I could finally rest easy that I could do this areas delivery meow. Also my little red scoot scoot is out of commission till this weekend. The belt have reached 12k miles, and it just gave up on me. I'm going to let it rest for meow on, and going to do my deliveries with my little motorcycle cb300f honda. When I switched like that making it my work horse. I want to get another motorcycle for my leisure time. I really want to get a new Yamaha MT07. I just wish I could get it right away, but 10k for a new one is going to take a million years for me since I don't make much. I'm going to try though, and if I can't get a new one. I guess I don't mind if I get a used motorcycle again if I have to as long it's an upgrade to my Honda cb300f. I need something a little bigger to carry my 450Ib self around town. I could say my little poor scoot scoot can meow take it easy in the hand of my wife once I change the drive belt, and get her a new mirror which it the third time meow that I dropped the bike.
Wow! What a crazy encounter. That’s too bad. I hope your leg heals soon. I’m assuming there is a leash law where you live? Was the owner cited for anything?
@@JeffMarcum Dont know yet. The animal control guy said he would like me to go to court later to tell my story of what happen, and he said he would try to push the guy to pay for my medical bills with a fine to the guy for a dangerous animal thing. Anyways I've already gave him the receipt of all the medical expenses. Not much really for the pain. I could have sued for more than that but it just seems not right so all I'm asking for is the medical bills that's it which total amount $320 that I went through My leg is still a little sore even though it scabbed up at the puncture wound, and I'm still taking antibiotics with cream ointment. Either than that I think I don't have to worry about rabies. I'm back to work delivering and I have to say I am more cautious when I see dogs out in the streets. My leg shin guard, and retractable Baton is going to be real useful if I get into that predicament again where to dogs chasing me when I'm on my bike.
