Crazy good video Alan and great new mats can’t wait to see you try them even though I know they will work excellent I have your hobby miner sluice and it with the reversible mat is the best piece of gold catching equipment I own they catch gold and clean up sooooo easily for those of you that aren’t sure about them I can tell you they are the best innovations for catching gold since the 1900’s. Compare them to any other mat style and you’ll find they catch more gold than dream mat or sawtooth ect. (And ya you have to test all mats correctly) WHICH MEANS you can’t just dump gold laden material into an empty mat or you will lose gold every time you have to have a layer made of any type material to keep from blowing gold out on the first shovel or scoop so quit making the rookie mistake and throw a couple scoops of material down your mats before you process the material with gold in it and you won’t lose any fine gold in your tailings it’s that simple. Thanks for sharing Alan see you on the next one👍🏼👊🏼

Thank you for the awesome comment. It is so great to hear people are getting the same results I get with the mats. They catch the gold period. Take care

Thank you Alan. I've watched many of your videos and have tried your techniques. I'm impressed and grateful. I have wood working skills and make my molds. With your help and Utahavalanch, I've been successful at improving my gold collecting skills. I hope to one day be as successful as you are. I've got several friends that are showing interest and now joining in on the fun. They ask for advice and guidance often. I tell them what I can and refer them to your videos. Thank you again.

    Hi Alan,
This is a real good how to video so thank you. I sure like the mats I got from you. Beside the fact that they simply catch the gold, I love the big surprise that I no longer have to look for lost nuts and bolts.
I look forward to seeing you out on the stream again.

These silicone mats work as good as anything anywhere. If you’re reading this and have not used Alan’s silicone molds and mats. You’re simply missing the best opportunity to catch all the gold from the hard work you’re doing.
Alan, this video is great! Thanks for sharing your knowledge and all the field work you’ve done to improve every hobby miners chances of recovering all the gold!

I’ve made some silicone mats and they work well. I use them on beach gold. My system is really too small and I need to upgrade my sluice and change my mat profile. Thanks for the video.

been running a 12 inch wide 42 inch long, Al Robertson silicone mats sluice since he started printing molds, when the water allows, it gets all the gold no matter how much water you push through it!

Another awesome "how to" video Alan, I built your bucket trommel ( made it a bit bigger) and it kicks butt. Your grizzly bar mat mould is now on my Xmas list. Thanks for this very good explanation video. Greetings from down under 🙃, regards Andy Poverty prospecting Australia 🇦🇺 😀

I was at one point gonna make a mat that combines sawtooth with dream mat style pattern. I imagine it could work ok with dialed in for a particular spot.

@@alanrobertson2510 I'll try it eventually, combining the best attributes seems like the way forward. I like how you can repel the rocks with the cells too so thats a solid feature that I might try to sneak into a concept mat design.

Have you found the high/low silicone mats superior to the semi-circular curly silicone mats?

@@billbucktube No I never did a comparison video on that. That was a DIY mat and still is if someone wants to make and use one. my problem with the circle mat is it hangs onto a lot of oversize material.
