I'm currently not very well so staying home and reading is how I'm spending my weekend. We start my June TBR, do some mood reading and reading book series I'm in the middle of.

I have that for a lot of different characters and I’m always afraid that I forget what they sound like.

I’ve been on the fence about reading Zodiac Academy, but I think you’ve just about convinced me I should read it! I’m a mood reader so who knows when I’ll actually pick them up, I’m currently reading the Naturals series by a Jennifer Lynn Barney’s and it’s so good! 🤩🥰
I haven’t read any of her books yet but I really want to pick some up!! 🤩 I feel you on the mood reading !! When you get around to ZA I hope you enjoy it 👀 it’s absolutely wild but the other books aren’t as intense as the first

Yesss. Rhys does not have an American accent😭I listened to ACOSF on just the normal audio this year (read it physically when it released) as a refresher for HOFAS and I cringed so much cuz it just sounded so different to what I had in my head.
Same with the voices in TOG. I have so many specific voices for every character in TOG that I cannot listen to it on audio. My friend thinks I’m crazy cuz she can’t make accents and voices for characters in her head besides her own accent😂
That is honestly the worst 😭🤣 it definitely is not an American accent I really want to reread with the audio books but don’t know if I’ll be able to handle it 🤣 I’ve not listened to the tog audio but might have to 👀
also i'm in pain because i read the first 3 books on ebook and then i HAD to buy the fourth book to read it and i have been devouring it but i put it on pause for just a bit until gold comes out. but here's the thing. the series is getting picked up by bloom and they wont print goldfinch, the 6th book, in the penguin edition. 😭

@@emmyrosam it's so sad. ☹ goldfinch doesn't come out until september which is a crime in itself, but it'll be a different edition. 😫 kennedy did everything she could to make it as close to the indie as possible, the same height and cover and such. but it'll have the bloom imprint instead of the penguin one. 💔 the rest of the series is also being reprinted currently. so i'll have to wait until there may come a boxset of all 6 books from bloom? and get that. because they must match. and i must have them all, of course. thanks for reading my rant haha. 🖤
