Whether you're using a clear top coat or paint grain finish, many projects will benefit from grain filler being applied before the final finish. If you can feel the grain highs and lows through the clear coat or if you can see the grain pattern through the paint, you should have used grain filler. Let's look at the benefits grain filler can bring to your finishing, and how to use it.

THANKS FOR A GREAT VIDEO, EMILE FROM CT.
Is it okay for outdoor projects?
@Wwgoa thanks for the lesson George.
What happens to wood filler when I use a chemical stripper? Does it stay put or do I need to redo it?
Is it safe to use on cutting boards or does it flake out when a knife goes through?
Is it food safe?
Can one grain-fill over paint? Which begs the question, can the grain filler be tinted so the coverage is more self evident?
Good show
