Cajun Shrimp and Grits Recipe| How to make Shrimp and grits.
Hey guys today I’m going to show you how to make an easy Cajun shrimp and grits recipe. This awesome shrimp and grits recipe is perfect for brunch, lunch and dinner. This dish is such a comfort food the grits is cheesy and extremely creamy, shrimp is full of flavor with the perfect New Orléans flavor.
Ingredients
3/4 cup quick grits
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup whole milk
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp salt
2 tbsp unsalted butter
3-4 cup Kraft Shredded 3 Cheddar Cheese Blend W/ a Touch of Philadelphia
Shrimp
Old bay seasoning
Cajun seasoning
Onion powder
Ground black pepper
Paprika
Bacon
2 tbsp unsalted butter 4 tbsp green bell pepper
4 tbsp onion powder
Tsp minced garlic
1 tbsp all purpose flour
1 cup chicken
Green onion and parley to garnish

Looks so good and very similar to my recipe. Only difference is I use smoked sausage instead of bacon, and I include red bell pepper with the green and onions/garlic. I swear I could smell this through my iPad! 👍🏾👍🏽👍🏾👍🏽

For those of us who don't eat pork for whatever reason a sprinkling of bacon bits made from soy can add that salty, crunchy finishing touch. I love watching shrimp and grits recipes and this is one of the most enjoyable because it focuses on the ingredients, technique and it doesn't have nonstop narration.

You can always use Turkey bacon!
Use beef bacon
They usually have at Wegmans, wholefoods or even Walmart depending on the region you're in
