2034. Love your reaction, she is just phenomenal, plain and simple. Pure Rock perfection. And I still don't know exactly how that power, that raw emotional control that she has, can come from such a tiny frame. It is such a joy to behold.
Thanks so much for this great reaction Mad Hatter. I just love watching your facial expressions as you watch the video. Courtney’s voice and performance in the confines of this little room are just out of this world. Thanks again 2034
Thanks Sherry for requesting the reaction of Courtney Hadwin's cover of Sucker. Enjoyed seeing the mad hatter's take of her performance. MORE COURTNEY HADWIN PLEASE !! 2034
Thanks again Sherry, and also to Mad Hatter. You're support for Courtney is amazing. All you do is appreciated by many. This one deserves much more than a 10 out 10 once again. Whatever that highest number I can give, that's what I give. 2034. I love all Courtney's facial expressions she makes while singing. She's non stop energy. You can literally pause any of her videos at any point and see some kind of passion or attitude in her look. She takes no breaks while performing. Even in ballads. When I 1st watched this cover by Courtney after her AGT season, this was the second cover she released from her Cover Session EP and I was wondering what happened to her rock n roll style after watching this one and her "Sign of the Times" cover. It only took me a few listens to realize what she had done to show the world she was more than just an old school rocker. Once I realized she had so many faces of singing styles she could do, I knew she was going to get all generations to follow her throughout her career. Today, I like this performance so much because of her attitude she sings and performs with and how she takes a pop song and spices it up into a funky/rock tune with a heavy dose of attitude and personality. Nothing is left on the table when she performs. Courtney is a real pro.
10 million hats ..Courtney is in her own lane her voice is absolutely incredible an is,a natural performer ..just simply amazing wonderful reaction as always thanku so much to lovely you an Sherry much love and God bless always x 2034 x
I've been watching Courtney for awhile. The thing I really see that is unmeasured is her work ethic and the support from her family,,, seem very genuine. I think she knows she can sing or has an unusual singing voice and while she was very young, she was seeing where her voice fits. Which is why I feel she is a prodigy. She, also wants to do what she wants to do, which is the way it should be. I think what is really beneficial in her life is her personality. I'm hoping for more like her to come out of the woodwork, but we know from generation to generation it's a rare thing. whether or not younger people pick up on her music is another. They are so influenced by decades of "Pop" in my opinion "shit" music that they can like no other music than that what they listen to now. If you look at the fan base now, the age group is very older than usual. So, there's a huge problem... Though don't get me wrong, I believe she will be successful and I know the biz, any label she's with it don't matter who, they're going to want to hit a younger fan base. In the marketing they'll have their work cut out for them. Not to say having an older generation fan base is bad, but money wise for album sales will be low. No, matter what she does and how she does it, I wish nothing but the best for her. She works hard and loves what she does. That's all that's important.
Hey Vincent, always enjoy reading your insightful comments. I have some different opinions about where music, marketing and which age groups benefit artists today. Things are changing so quickly with onset of digital platforms. It's my understanding money made on selling albums is minimal today. Digital services have ruled over major labels in that area. I've learned those labels are trying to take back some of that income, but are still not doing nearly as well. Digital platforms mostly seam to bank of monthly services fees except for the few huge artists and occasional lucky hit song by others, for their main source of income. The artists and label from what I understand make their money from concert tours, appearances and other marketing devices. You would probably be more informed on all this. As for genre and age groups go, I would like to think base on what 90% or more of the comments and viewers of Courtney have been saying since her recognition, especially today, now that she's showed more of who she really is and not just a rocker to all those who knew her from AGT, that when her time comes and she finally gets her music release she will make a huge impact on most anyone getting to hear and see her, especially on video and hopefully live. Most of us have heard her snippets of new songs and those demos from Kevin Bowe last year. From hearing all of them, anyone who's experience her style knows she's not going to come out flat. She makes songs hits. The songs don't make her. That to me is the all important difference between Courtney and most other artists. The age group shouldn't matter if her music releases are marketed professionally. Hell, they should do well even if they are not marketed professionally. It would probably take a little longer I think. She has lots of younger kids following her on her Social Media accounts when she put out content, especially on TikToK. When that time comes part of the job will be up to Courtney to get back on Social Media and becomes extremely active with anything that's from the heart. And that I think is natural for her when she has the time. Most of her content now seems to be about just keeping in touch. I would think there's not much time for her to do what she was doing during Lock downs. And she hopefully has been enjoying her life, being a young adult, having fun. The one thing that I think will shock many is the older fans will make a huge difference with someone as great as Courtney is. We will spend way more than what other age groups can afford to see her live. I've seen it with a few other very young and new rock band these past years. The difference to me will be the speed at which she gains traction from the others. I know of one rock band that I've been following who went from no label and doing it on their own fairly well to now having a good label and moving very quickly popularity wise and especially in concerts and recording quality. Another rock band I follow is still doing everything on their own, but making great traction and has the admiration of many rock legends from Dio's old band members, to Kiss members, Steward Copeland great drummer from the Police and many others. Both will be getting more popular with rock lovers. Courtney has more to offer musically than just rock, so I think she will have a much broader fan base once she gets released. At 1st I wanted her to make it big right away after AGT, but I'm glad she's had time to mature and get used to what's coming ahead. Being so young and an icon has had some negative impacts on some artists, even though the came out well after the initial shock of being sought after. I do think Courtney's personality is different even at a younger age. She's always seemed to being able say what she wants to do and not really settle. A strong one she is.
@@bertpainter8385 I get what your saying and I agree with many of it. I think what she has going best for her is her true character. it's very rare that I'm wrong. I love Courtney, I love her style, I lover her music, even her originals, "Good Ol' Days" being my favorite. But, Labels don't change much, and never have, well especially the people. I really am hoping the best for her in her life and what she wants to do. It feels very weird just even being a semi-fan, because of her age compare to when I grew up with the music and even in these times. but, i love the voice. The heaviest target is youth. I don't want to get into that. I honestly believe she is a prodigy and actually set the bar for solo singers on AGT or any other show. I have not seen yet anyone in her youth group perform the way she has. Just a stick w/a voice. Absolutely boring. Courtney Hadwin? Very fun to watch and listen too. I stand by what I said, but that doesn't mean I don't support her or hope she does bad or will do bad. I hope many younger people will hear her voice and go wow. This young lady worked her ass off from day one, and deserves only the best. Good to hear from ya man. I've been playing and actually doing some writing. tried to make a video of me playing but i have to make changes due to copy right laws i got warning for.:) maybe some day i'll tell you about growing up in the music and how my mom pretty much ended all that after about 25 years. Hey take care, and God bless. Later :)
@@vincentboyd9194 Lets hope the times are a changing for how influential the labels are going to be. Everything always changes. 5 years ago is quite a bit different than today (really 2 with Covid). I suspect in 5 years it'll be more different and change even faster. I been reading how labels are following suite with how my field of work is moving more and more by subbing many responsibilities to smaller companies, which should help those not wanting to sign with them out if they are smart with managing their business on their own. Not saying that's has anything to do with Courtney. But it does signal change. I honestly don't know if what I'm reading about the digital platforms destroying labels income, but if that is so, then I would think they've lost their grip on control to a certain extent. But on the other hand they still have the money and connections to make someone a star quicker than anyone. I just hope signing with them is not a one sided deal anymore until they get famous. Looking forward to watching your video if you get it done. Was supposed to retire last year myself but Covid ruined my plans so I got back into running my own business again for a bit until I can do what I had initially planned for retirement, when the economy falls back to somewhat normalcy, lol. Then I will get my little home studio upgraded and running again. I'm still all hardware with recording for the late 90's and want to go to pc pro tools or something other. But I need the free time to really get into it. I did just buy a new guitar. The Silver Sky (John Mayers) PRS. So far loving it. Just need to throw on lighter gauge strings and lower the action at tad. My fingers hurt a bit with 10's on this bending notes, lol. But I'm at least playing a little everyday again trying to get that muscle memory tuned up a bit. Take care and keep me in mind if you get that video available to watch. Sounds something I'd be into watching. Love learning from people with experience.
Thanks a mill for the reaction man and don't worry about pausing every reactor I know Paul says when they hear Courtney Courtney attacks everything she does and she puts her heart and souls and everything she does once again thanks for the action man
I am a senior and I think that she is truly originally amazing. This is one of her best, with her own sound, own dress style and own dance style. Don't let them turn you into a clone. Why do you not have a recording deal? It hurts my ears to listen to someone like Adele who is probably amazing to true vocals, but we need the whole deal, like you Courtney my love.
To let you know. Courtney was signed 3 years ago, and recording with Arista Records/Sony. Between Covid and then Sony's buy out of her original contract things stalled for her. Her Country has been in lock down until recently which kept her from recording in studios. She did things at home for fans and built a studio in her loft to learn on her own time and some online collaborations with at least on producer Kevin Bowe who's worked with many big names, but nothing she could officially release. Here is a snippet of one song she uploaded a short preview of. She'll be there when Covid allows. "Monster" ruclips.net/video/JbQbv-LGja4/видео.html Channel owner mixed it on repeat. Hey MH. You hit it spot on. Since Courtney first burst on to the worldwide scene with her stint on AGT in 2018, everyone has been trying to compare her to who she sounds like. Courtney has been compared to just about every great artist in music history and the comparisons never work. That's because Courtney has a completely unique vocal sound that we've never heard before. She really sounds like no one that has come before her. I guess that true originality and uniqueness happens so rarely that people just have a hard time wrapping their heads around it when they truly hear it and they want to find a comparison, but one doesn't exist. I don't know if you know the original of this song, but it is a pop song by the Jonas Bros and Courtney completely dismantled it and put it back together as this Funk masterpiece. She re-makes every song she sings into a completely different vibe from the original (if a cover) and what she produces always blows the original out of the water. Her creativity is simply off the charts. You've reacted to two of the four songs to Courtney's 'Cover Sessions' EP. It makes me sick how you get haters that can't handle any comparisons to Janis Joplin as if she's the only person in the world who could ever sing like she did and that no one else would ever be capable of doing so, especially when such people boost their cult hero to heights that they are nowhere near while attempting to totally trash others that do things as good or better. They were doing it when this young lady was twelve. What was Janis Jkplin like when she was twelve? She probably wasn't singing at all and Courtney was as good in her entire act apart from singing, as some professionals are. Let's see if the haters don't look totally idiotic in another ten years time which is when Courtney will be the same age that Janis was at her top rather than comparing her at her best, to a twelve year old.
You kept apologizing for the unattractive pauses it was beautiful as this girl is the amazing part of her is she's Courtney and she lets everything loose with each vocal she does and sometimes maybe it's not the most attractive pose but if she was going for poses she wouldn't be Courtney it's all about the music to her she puts her heart and soul and everything she does and she totally amazes me with her feelings in the song regardless of whether it's rock a ballot her whole hearts and everything she ever does that's what you call an artist maybe I want a lifetime artist thank you
