The only thing I could remember about this guy is,he was accused of having a weapon of mass destruction,but when the war was over,there is no weapon of mass destruction found!! So sad!!!

I’m Kurdish Iraqi born in Baghdad . I just want to say that during his rule or when he was Iraq president I lived a good life In Baghdad we had a big house we were financially free even though we were Kurdish we were never harmed because my family wasn’t political we focused on our education and our family . My mother was a high school principal and my father was a pharmacist. It was basically a free country if you are smart and educated you could live a good life like any other country . However , when other people spoke bad about him or didn’t like the way he did things he or his government attacked them so there was no freedom of speech. I’m pretty sure the war against Iran was because of the American hostages and I’m sure America government asked him to go to war with Iran , now about Kuwait I have no idea why that happened . Some things aren’t fully explained some times facts are hidden from us .
Anyhow if any one ask me would u live in Iraq now I’ll tell them are u crazy lol but if any one ask me if I want to live in Iraq during saddam I’d say yes I would because it was a beautiful country back then and very rich .
