Apologies, but the specs shown in the video are incorrect. Please see the correct specs below: Case Size: 43 mm Lug Width: 22 mm Thickness: 11.4 mm Lug-to-Lug: 48 mm Water Resistance: 300 m Movement: Auto Sellita SW300 (COSC-certified) Crystal: Sapphire Price: $1,670 + $160 per bezel
I love that removable bezel feature! Dive watches have been around for decades, and have had very little change associated with them since their inception. Kudos to Formex for being so innovative. Kudos to you Teddy for being one of the foremost channels championing the value of Formex - a watch maker that really doesn't get the love they deserve.
For me, this is one gorgeous watch. A love at first sight moment has just occurred 😂. Unfortunately, right now I’m more able to afford a spare bezel for it ($160) than the watch itself. One day, one day!
I have the same wrist size as you, but I do appreciate the face that you review watches that size us both out. They are fun to learn about, and they are beautiful!
Really missed a trick here. They could have offered it with a 3 bezel option 60 minute 12 hour and a plain brushed finish giving 3 completely different looks/functions rather than just colour.
@@OneLordeAnimeClips I don't think they will though, although now there is a reef gmt you can have a 24h or 60m bezel on that watch. I suppose if you did want a plain steel bezel you could remove the insert and remove the outer lip.
@@waynesellers4078 Ah yeah, they would make more money by not having that be a part of the Reef diver line, and instead creating a GMT line haha. Business practices trump all else.
@@thegorn well everyone is entitled to their opinion, feel free to tell us yours. The certina DS+ is doing a similar idea but by changing the case, which in my opinion is a bit clumsy.
Look at 3:16… the case has already been marked by the bezel digging in. Surely you’d put some card at the 12 and 6 position to avoid any damage. I can see a few unhappy customers.
With Rolex Sub's being hard to come by and that huge price tag this would definitely fill that void for a watch that has near the specs, its own style for thousands less and in stock
It wears just like a Rolex Sub. Look at the lug to lug distance which is a very reasonable 48mm. My Seiko Samurai is 45mm case diameter and I have no issues pulling it off despite having a small but flat wrist.
Long time fan of Teddy's here. Absolute fan of your style. Teddy, mind if I ask what's the model/make of that spectacle frame you're always wearing in your videos?
@@TeddyBaldassarreReviews Yes, everything is wrong in the box at 8:13; movement, thickness, WR, the lot is wrong. I can't see the comment. If it's too much work to correct the video, please post it right underneath in your text that now starts with "The first 100...."
Hi Teddy, Please consider the brand Titoni, 100 year old swiss brand that is popular in Asia and nonexistent in western market. Maybe a business opportunity for ya? I would pickup a Titoni Seascoper when travel opens up or you becomes an AD for the brand. hint hint
I have actually always thought Formex were well built and good looking, but I don't know why, the name makes me think of a condom - or maybe a condometer? 😀
Hey Teddy , quick question please ..... Just watched this review and you state the price to be $1,150 @8:15 but yet when i look on your website the price is now $1,1790 , an over $600 increase in 5 months , why is the price now so more expensive ?
Almost everything Teddy wrote at 8:13 is complete and utter garbage. He effed it up completely. You can even see 300m on the dial and Teddys written 200m. 😂

Love where this brand is going.
Thanks for sharing!
You've already sold me on the Formex brand and I have a couple on my shopping list.
The finish really is impressive. Thanks for the review!

I saw a Formex on another video a while ago and now I’ve watched this video maybe 12 times. Love it! Will buy shortly

Shouldn't be too hard for them to implement that change though right?

I’m glad OP is not in charge of product design and marketing, as it’s one of the dumbest ideas I’ve ever heard of.

Well spotted. Someone has been a bit rough.
With Rolex Sub's being hard to come by and that huge price tag this would definitely fill that void for a watch that has near the specs, its own style for thousands less and in stock
Not to mention the sub is boring AF
Interesting looking piece. I like the indices and overall look...thanks for sharing
Great innovation, hopefully it does well and inspires more brands to also try different things.
Please make a smaller version, please make a smaller version!

I wish it had female end links all watches that are on the big side should have them. It Helps people with smaller wrists
Thanks Teddy! I just purchased mine today!
Very nice watch and within reach for a swiss mechanical. Thank you, great review.
Nice looking timepiece ......would have preferred a larger dial though !
if i had the money, i would have a Formex collection.
go Formex. Excellent quality solid watch.

Handsome piece, still think the name is dodgy tho.. Cheers mate 👍🏻
I hope they come out with a more legible bezel for diving this is on list fo sho
Nice video but there is an error in the specifications box you said it’s movement is a Mido movement.
You are correct, apologies for this, Francisco. Just pinned a comment with the correct specs.

Ordered the Yema Rallygraph Andretti edition. I'd love to hear your opinion on the piece Sir
What do you think about the GMT and how it compares to say oris, similar price point
Great price for a very cool watch.

The Brain likes it, the Heart not so much.
I believe it's a very competitive price segment and the watch/brand is missing something...
Drop the name, redsign the logo and inject some actual personally with something like a textured dial and they would sell loads more...
The Reef GMT brings it in spades
39,5 MM now!
Nice piece
Is there a green dial version coming?
already listed on Teddys site
@@unKonw91 that’s the old version with a non interchangeable bezel.
Super cool!! Grüsse aus Zürich
Your video says price is $1150 and then your site has it for $1750?
Lol
Big mistake in the video. I suspect those specifications are from the previous version of the watch.
Anyone else think the hour indices look like omega aqua terra indices?
No
Maybe I just miss something, but isn’t the paint around the date cut out really poor e.g. at 6:17?
Looks fine

What does Rolex or Timex make you think of?
Dafaq is a condometer?

Cool "transformex".
My ignorant hard headed fanboy think "My SKX can replace the bezel too, what makes this feature special?" ha ha
If omega and patek had a wild night together, this os what would’ve come out
Ploprof had a fling with miss naughtylus (nautilus)
Nice watch, too big and would never be an option for me with so many other brands with impressive movements!
Boring watch, no emotions
Lol
Honestly, it's ugly watch
No everyone has to like rugged and manly yet stylish timepieces. Cartier might be more your style.
