Yep I think it was a great idea too. A little recap of their travels, they've reminded me of a couple of my favourite videos so far and I've gone back to find them and re watch 😊 I love their videos. They're a little positivity boost I think we all need in our day lately 🙂
Haven’t watched yet but I just wanna thank you guys for the years of free entertainment and letting us get a glimpse into your world! I’m a single mom to an amazing 11 year old boy and struggle at times, like we all do. When I’m feeling a little down or discouraged I grab a cup of coffee(cheers Kara ☕️), and binge watch you guys. Lol coffee always makes life a little better 😉. You guys always uplift my spirit and inspire me to be and do better. I can always count on it! These last couple months of quarantine I have been binge watching your videos from oldest to most recent, even though I had seen all of the last 2 years give or take a few months. Y’all have let me forget about this crazy world for countless hours and I’m so grateful. I hope y’all are staying safe and we can all get back to “normal life” again soon. I’m missing your “new” travel vlogs more then you know! Just wanted to say thanks for you all you guys do and since I actually was able to comment within first ten minutes I hope you both see this! Sending love to y’all from Boise, Idaho!!
Dang it! My comment got a heart from them and I edited it because I found a typo, and now the heart is gone. Lol dang it. At least I got a screen shot before I so stupidly did that. It totally made my morning!!
Thank you so much for starting with strange does Not equal bad :) I've witnessed so many people miss out on genuine experiences because of their mindset. Your comment at the end was spot on & not at all too deep!! Food is deeply linked with culture. Thank you Kara & Nate!!!!
we were supposed to be traveling full time for a year but corona happened so WHO'S GLAD WE'RE STILL GETTING CONTENT FROM THEM EVEN THO WE'RE ALL IN QUARANTINE LOCKDOWN?! 🙋🏻♂️🙋🏻♂️🙋🏻♂️
Kara and Nate, I really look up to you guys. You’ve both grown so much over the years and you’ve become even better versions of yourselves. This is wonderful and I always enjoy every single video! You guys are so respectful to the cuisines, traditions and cultures. I love it so much!
I love your honest reactions to the "weird" foods. Nates first reaction to Vegemite is hilarious. I don't think you need to apologize for your anything. Stay safe.
5:50 these are the best moments, when locals take you in and show parts of their culture you wouldn’t have experienced without them. Also well spoken words in the beginning how traveling changes your point of view of things. It makes you open minded. I like how self reflected you two are about it.
Bali ubud is also a place to consider. Bali is full of wonderful places especially their villas like Bulgari Resort, Villas in Ayana within areas in Jimbaran, Uluwatu, Seminyak, Sanur, Kuta. There's a lot of the world's most luxurious villas although you can easily find affordable yet AMAZING villas for about $900 usd for 5 nights or even around 100 - 250 usd in ubud in their 3 star cottages which may have a low rating but their service is still top notch, from home made breakfast to daily cleaning services. (rooms are the cleanest) Check out batu empug cottage in ubud, or even alaya resort and ubud terrace, it's right in the center of ubud and you can explore the area all you want, eat all you want for the cheapest prices ever, a fruit drink costs about 1 dollar usd, which is as cheap as you can get for drinks made with real fruits. Ubud is the best for cheap and amazing food, and places like Uluwatu, Jimbaran, nusa dua, they are the best for a expereince at the beach and great to just relax in their ocean front/ beach front villas
You two bring out so much energy and you make me feel like I’m right there with you on each of your adventures.. A lot of young people might not realize, but many of us “seniors” had our adventures back in the day. I sure did; from my hippie days of the ’60s to 20 years as a cross-country trucker. Sharing your adventures helps all of us re-live ours. I’m sure I speak for many of us when I say Thank You. Let the adventures continue and be safe.
You guys had inspired me to try include traveling videos on my channel for the spanish community. I always watch your videos and I had learn a lot not only a country's culture but your equipment on cameras, drones, and more.... thanks a lot
You two are the best. I love watching how these years of travel are gradually changing your outlook. I have the benefit of binge watching from the beginning, so the changes are easier to see than if I was watching in real time over 4 years. xD
These were all great but the Iceland segment always gets me laughing. Love the original episode too. Loved Nate’s vegemite reaction. Had me rolling!!!!
This has been a real treat, when you can actually remember all the episodes, the foods are from ❤️❤️❤️ Also, ever since the bloops are there at the end, a pure pleasure to watch you guys 😊😊
Tearing up watching this because I'm thinking of the interactions we have with others while traveling.. that's what I miss more than the sites, museums, flights, etc. right now. Just getting to interact with the locals and realize how much we all have in common and how much love there is to go around. Thank you for sharing this one today ❤️
The fact that you made your 100 countries and 7 continents goal just before COVID-19 makes both you most likely the most luckiest couple ever. Glad that both of you are staying safe also...
I prefer to see the genuine response rather than a filtered smile. People will find ways to be offended and you will never not offend anyone. Just be genuine and don't pander to narcissistic people. You guys are awesome!
Even though I travel for a living (flight attendant) I am still SUCH A BABY when it comes to trying new food 😂 I have to admit I’ve grown a lot though and am more willing to eat new things. I totally agree though - traveling pushes you outside your comfort zone and there’s nothing else like it.
I couldn't decide what was the funniest part to me...Kara's dad being super chill "It tastes like chicken" while you guys were freaking out or the bizarre sight of huge bugs in your perfect toothpaste commercial teeth! And then I saw the bloopers...you guys are hilarious! I'm glad you're still bringing awesome content even while stuck in quarantine.
I so appreciate how you two always recognize just how #blessed you are to be able to live the amazing lives you do, but even still, I can only imagine how stressful it must be to not be able to make plans for the future. As a nomadic American familiar with the US tax code I also know you are not only taking a financial hit by not being able to put out content on your regular schedule, but by also having to spend too much time state-side from a tax avoidance perspective. Despite it all y'all are optimistic, cheerful and making the best out of a difficult situation, and it is #GOALS. Thank you for being the wonderful people you are, and for taking us along for the ride, you are truly a bright spot in my day.
Ahhhhh literally made me shiver at the tarantula!!!! 😂But Vegemite on the other hand...so damn good haha! Jori has recently been snacking on it by the spoonful, right from the jar! Also....add some butter to your toast first and also cheddar cheese on top or mix with avocado! So many options for our Aussie delicacy hahahaha! 🤪
Yes, the buttered toast spread with vegemite and topped with melted cheddar cheese is called the "vegemite sandwich." Delicious way to eat it! And I also like it plain. Not your typical American here... 😉
You guys are actually the nicest and best you-tubers ever! Hopefully once this all ends I can see you guys because you seem so nice! All I can say is to keep doing what you do cause every time you post a video I jump in happiness!
I was so nervous of Nate eating the Korean "wiggling" octopus as you definitely should chew it as fast as possible when you eat it or you might choke as it gets stuck in your throat! 😅😬 I tried this delicacy known in Korean as san-nachi when I was an exchange student in Korea and it is absolutely delicious - but definitely strange. Come to our home town of Tampere, Finland to try the famous blood sausage one day! 😁😎
Yep. I love vegemite. Smear some hot toast in butter and then some vegemite, perfect 😋 or some vegemite on a sandwich again with butter and some cheese, and even tomato slices. Yum.
Hey K&N...loving the video! I appreciate your final comment Nate on hoping for more people travel to world to appreciate each other. I pass the same comment when talking about my travels. PS...those reactions to trying new food...priceless ;)
Dear Kara and Nate, I am a young child and I really enjoy watching your videos. You have reminded me that through this difficult time that we can do this. You are so sweet, and confident. I also know that you live in Nashville. I live close to there. I love you guys. Have a great day!
i’ve been watching y’alls channel for a long time now and it makes me want to travel when i’m older. and one day i hope to meet y’all. love you kara and nate! :) stay safe
I love that I had seen every one of these from the beginning until today. Remembering these as they do, it's such a blessing to see the memories and their love of their life. Thanks, guys!
After watching this... I need to know. How much video footage are you holding out on us?? Like, what do you do with rest of what you shoot each day? I’ve binged this series the last few weeks and I’m so sad it’s coming to an end. All the while I kept finding myself wanting more. I keep wanting to see what you did in between what we see or leading up to an event. I’d really like to see more of the mundane moments of your travels. I love the refined product you put out there, but traveling is not refined and there is so much more nitty gritty to it that I know many of us would love to see!
I've been keeping a list of the amazing foods you have enjoyed for when I begin my world travels. Hmm..an idea for another list video? "Best foods we have enjoyed"
Hey guys! It’s Melanie aka The Bug Table Lady remembering how people at your 100th Country party responded the exact same way to eating crickets, scorpions 🦂 and mealworms. Good thing you had some promos to reward their adventurous behavior or you would’ve been munching on them for a month! Thanks for the reminder of your crazy times. You guys are awesome!
There are loving people everywhere on this planet we all bleed the same color❤ and you're right if we all got to travel we would see things so differently life is all about perspective❤❤
Appreciate your noting the growth that has come with years of travel. We certainly may all encounter foods we don't like, but it doesn't mean a slam against the culture from which it comes. I do envy your being able to try all kinds of things--I am limited by several severe food allergies.
Haven't even gotten 3 minutes into the video yet but I just have to say that I love that intro and how you're acknowledging about your early reactions, it just goes to show how much of a positive/transformative experience travel/understanding other perspectives can be
Thanks for sharing your experiences here with all of us! Food culture is such an important part of travel. I wasn't a foodie before I started my journey, but now consider it essential to try as much as possible. Mostly good experiences and some really delicious stuff. The only time I ever backed out of trying a dish was in Korea, when some friends invited me out for some late night 'live' octopus. I just couldn't get around the fact it was still moving in the dish. Is there anything memorable from your travels that you just couldn't eat?
I really, really enjoyed watching this video! I enjoyed hearing what you've learned over the past 4 years of full-time travel and how travel has changed you both. It's exciting to hear as we venture into our own full-time travel (currently not traveling; lockdown in India) and I hope we are able to grow in our own unique ways, just like you both did through these unforgettable experiences :)
You guys should do home vlogs. We know u think we aren’t interested but we really are we just want to know if everything is all right with y’all. Hope u consider it ❤️🤍🖤from 🇹🇹
I loooove these videos! After watching you since (almost) day one, these compilation videos are just like little scrapbooks of all these years and it is GREAT. I got to see you in Nashville at the 100 Country Party (I went alone so I just hid in a quiet corner haha) but I know you guys were conflicted about what to do next, and this idea is OUTSTANDING. I was thinking you could do a sort of "surviving stressful travel" or "what to do when things go wrong." I was thinking about when you got stuck in that rainstorm in Turkey, the time the drone crashed, when you were in the wreck (can't remember what country that was), when you lost each other at Angkor Wat, oh my god and the glacier! Oof that one is still hard to watch. One of the reasons I shy away from travel is that situations like that scare me, so I would love to know the things you guys have learned to do to cope when you feel like things are out of control. Especially doing this as a COUPLE! I am always amazed. Anyway great job as always (Kara, your editing is just SO GOOD) and keep em coming! Love y'all! p.s. I would pay $10 for a supercut of every time Kara was hangry.
You’re the sweetest!!! Hope you enjoyed the party. Seems like yesterday to me, so it’s just so crazy to think how when it was happening back in Jan., the world was a totally different place!! Don’t let fear hold you back!!! There are WAY more good things that outweigh the bad ❤️
I am turkish and when my dad and bro ate Kokareç (lamb intestines) i told my mom i would NEVER eat that a few years later i tried it and it was really good. :D
Me: Sits down to have breakfast and watch RUclips. Sees Kara and Nate uploaded their strange food retrospective. Remembers the video of the tarantula legs sticking out of Kara's mouth. Me: Ummmm... well, clicks anyway.
Love seeing how much you both have grown, and how you are able to reflect on that. It just shows how much travel can broaden your understanding of others 🥰 Also, as an Aussie I love Vegemite and was proud of you for giving it another go haha.
Y'all... these foods don't disturb me any less now then when I first saw them... I can't... 🤢🤢🤢 I'll go back in time and order those Chicken Nuggets with you, Kara!! 🤣
I hope it is always clear to you what an extraordinary life you lead. Only very few people on earth have this possibility. It shows once again that the biggest obstacle in life is the fear to dare something unknown. You two are an inspiration for thousands of people. Thank you very much for this and good luck for the future.
Please do a video on the most impactful/eye-opening experiences you have had with locals in different countries!! One reason I have always loved your videos is because you show that no matter where you travel, the people that live there aren't as different from us as we may think. So I would love to see a compilation video like this (the snowball fight with locals in Iraq is the first one that comes to mind :) )!
For real, same here and also couldn't fathom eating these. I almost stopped the video but love K&N so kept going. The octopus legs certainly were not alive themselves, but the octopus had its legs chopped off while it was alive. Pretty horrible since we know how sentient an octopus is.
Really enjoying the compilations. Me being a stickler for detail, I think the thought of all this food must have gotten y'all a bit fuzzy because you forgot how to spell scorpion and Taiwan. Apart from that, superb as usual. And I do think this is what all the videos you have done over the 4 years plus are all about - memories. So many memories. And reflecting on these times you've had around the world. And it's so easy to forget what you did and where you've been if it wasn't for all the videos (and photos). Very well done guys. Love to both and stay safe in that huge Airbnb.
I discovered your channel when I saw your escape from the Philippines during the covid lockdown. since that day, me and my wife were hooked by your vlogs. We would like to thank you for showing us the world while we were on lockdown in our house in Manila. We have seen most if not all your videos. Next week our government has announced that the country will already reopened and we will go back to work already. Your videos made our quarantine so enjoyable and learning from your experiences is really enriching for us. We pray that you can go back to traveling soon after the pandemic. You take care guys and we really feel that we are friends now. He he he (one of your million fans). BTW, if you can come up with an travel guide e-book or printed book on what to do, where you went in all the countries you've been into, that would be great. God bless you and Maraming Salamat (thank you) -Giov and Leah
Oh my god guys.....! There are a lot of people with passion of travelling around the world.......But I'm pretty sure there are not many who can try different things when is comes to food....... you've earned all the respect guys....... keep it up.....
You don’t have to be so conscious of offending people, thinking food is disgusting isn’t that offending. Your Rich but still try foods and think positively, that is very amazing!
honestly i just want to thank you for entertaining me throughout this time. i always look forward to watching your videos an i love how you visited my home country (Jordan). You guys are so awesome and adventurous. You guys take so many risks and i just wanted to say thank you one more time for make me exited and happy. SO THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
I tried some, but definitely would like to try all of them ... pretty curious about the stinky tofu! “Travel pushes you out of your comfort zone” Well said, Nate. You both are gorgeous and inspiring! If you’re in Italy (unfortunately so badly hit by Covid!!!!) please please please get in touch with me. Unfortunately I never had the patience you guys had, opening a RUclips channel. But I have a lot of experience to share travelling the world as a single mum with two kids (now 11 and 7 or 7-Eleven) since almost 5 years (87 countries on my list)! Would be phantastic getting to know you! Truly inspiring!!
I definitely was wondering how you all keep pushing out content! I'm so happy ya'll have found a way to stay on top of your content despite not being able to travel at the moment!!!
I've been following you two since the beginning. So glad you finally figured out Vegimite! The best way to start the day with just scrape on hot buttered toast. Yum........also great for soups and stews. Thanks for being inventive and keeping the content coming. I've been locked down for 9 weeks and your uploads are greatly appreciated.
i LOVE seeing how you guys have matured because of your traveling experiences. it feels so refreshing to know that you guys appreciate other cultures despite them being “strange” ❤️
Thank you for the "Top" video series. Love it, and eagerly wait for new videos. I also love that I can watch your videos with my 4 year old around and not worry that there is anything to be offended about.
Hi Guys I'm a huge fan of your channel. Your my favorite travel blogger. Thank you both for being so real and genuine. Your channel has served as a great distraction. With all thats going on in the world now. Stay safe and keep up the great work.
We totally understand guys...those foods are super strange!!!!! Braver than we are that's for sure ;) Love you guys so much and hope you're staying safe!
I adore these two people. I hope to meet you one day. This was so much fun to watch. I just finished watching all of your vlogs from the beginning and I cannot wait to see what you do next. Maybe another group trip?...
There is nothing wrong about your authentic reaction to vegemite! You can still be authentic and honest but still careful about people's different cuisines and cultures. Thanks for the great videos, especially during covid-19!
I appreciate your guys’ mindfulness to be culturally sensitive! At the same time I appreciated your organic and unfiltered reactions to foods you did or didn’t like. Open minded but true to yourselves 🧡
Such a good idea to do a recap on these things while quarantine! This is the most entertained I’ve been for SOOO long!
Same
Yep I think it was a great idea too. A little recap of their travels, they've reminded me of a couple of my favourite videos so far and I've gone back to find them and re watch 😊 I love their videos. They're a little positivity boost I think we all need in our day lately 🙂
Agreed! ♡
So incredibly respectful and culturally aware of your reaction to the food. So entertaining. TY
So true. They're amazing.
Really impressed with your introductory comments on this video, especially taking the time to define what you mean by strange. Well done!
James Haddan: I Agree with You.
I’d LOVE to see a recap/list of times you were sick (stomach, flu, colds, etc) and how you dealt with it in other countries!
no that’s weird
where is the episode where they dinned in the dark? I can't find it

Saaaaaammeeee. I had to stop eating right on the embryo. Nothing mean, just not our typical pb&j
You two are braver than most trying some of those things! Would love to see you guys travelling round the states in an RV for a year or so!
Agreed. I would love to welcome them to Tucson.
YOU NEED TO PUT BUTTER ON THE TOAST THEN PUT A TINY AMOUNT OF VEGEMITE ON IT. TRUST ME ITS SOO GOOD
I love that I had seen every one of these from the beginning until today. Remembering these as they do, it's such a blessing to see the memories and their love of their life. Thanks, guys!
Same same! My strangest street food experience was also fermented “stinky” tofu but in Hong Kong! 😬
I just clicked on this video even though i was halfway through another video! ❤️ K&N!
Daniel Cook are u Scottish?
Yes I went back and watched a few Amazon videos and yes you guys have totally turned it back around! Way to go loving seeing y’all being authentic!
I've been keeping a list of the amazing foods you have enjoyed for when I begin my world travels. Hmm..an idea for another list video? "Best foods we have enjoyed"
Love how you used this video to reflect on your own growth/how travel has changed you and taught you so much
Urg can’t wait until covid is over. You guys have inspired me to travel ❤️
You’re awesome, Melanie! Thanks for being brave at our party! 😁👏🏼🎉
RUclips ding: Kara and Nate notification
Me: get coffee ready, get in comfy in bed, and 🦵 boyfriend out.
Life is good 😁😁😁
leg boyfriend AHAHAHAH
Haven't even gotten 3 minutes into the video yet but I just have to say that I love that intro and how you're acknowledging about your early reactions, it just goes to show how much of a positive/transformative experience travel/understanding other perspectives can be
You're helping keep my travel bug at bay. 😭♥️
Kara and Nate I’m really enjoying these compilations! Thanks for still making us good content with all this happening!
You are the ones who made me start my channel
Same for us! 👋🏻
Omg never been this early!!
Me to 🥳🤩
Sam Wilson same
I really, really enjoyed watching this video!
Hope u consider it ❤️🤍🖤from 🇹🇹
Right?! I think they're scared that they will lose viewers, but it's not just the exotic locations. We like them for them :)
The duck embero is actually really sad...
Killing and eating chickens before they are formed is sad as well lol.
😂👏🏼
@@KaraandNate 🤗🤗
Love seeing how much you both have grown, and how you are able to reflect on that. It just shows how much travel can broaden your understanding of others 🥰 Also, as an Aussie I love Vegemite and was proud of you for giving it another go haha.
Y'all... these foods don't disturb me any less now then when I first saw them... I can't... 🤢🤢🤢
I'll go back in time and order those Chicken Nuggets with you, Kara!! 🤣
I hope it is always clear to you what an extraordinary life you lead. Only very few people on earth have this possibility. It shows once again that the biggest obstacle in life is the fear to dare something unknown. You two are an inspiration for thousands of people. Thank you very much for this and good luck for the future.
😂😂😂🤣🤣 your guys's reactions😂🤣🤣😂🤣🤣🤣🙏🙏😂🤣😂🤣
Please do a video on the most impactful/eye-opening experiences you have had with locals in different countries!! One reason I have always loved your videos is because you show that no matter where you travel, the people that live there aren't as different from us as we may think. So I would love to see a compilation video like this (the snowball fight with locals in Iraq is the first one that comes to mind :) )!
Thankfully I'm a vegetarian and would never be tempted by these things.
I love the way that you are recapping your travels. It's nice to see that you two are healthy and happy.
Oh my god guys.....!
There are a lot of people with passion of travelling around the world.......But I'm pretty sure there are not many who can try different things when is comes to food....... you've earned all the respect guys....... keep it up.....
Loving these extra videos at the moment guys!! So thankful for your channel at the moment ❤️
💗💗💗
You don’t have to be so conscious of offending people, thinking food is disgusting isn’t that offending.
Your Rich but still try foods and think positively, that is very amazing!
honestly i just want to thank you for entertaining me throughout this time. i always look forward to watching your videos an i love how you visited my home country (Jordan). You guys are so awesome and adventurous. You guys take so many risks and i just wanted to say thank you one more time for make me exited and happy. SO THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
In the next "15 most" count down, y'all should recap the friends y'all have met during your travels & where they are now.
I like the way you guys are commentating while reacting to some older clips! keep these coming, fun to do some reminiscing during this pandemic.
Thank you guys for all the videos you post. I appreciate it all. Seriously.
I definitely was wondering how you all keep pushing out content! I'm so happy ya'll have found a way to stay on top of your content despite not being able to travel at the moment!!!
The way they are sensitive towards every culture and don’t want to hurt anyone is so amazing. That’s the reason why I loveeee watching you both❤️❤️❤️
I've been following you two since the beginning. So glad you finally figured out Vegimite! The best way to start the day with just scrape on hot buttered toast. Yum........also great for soups and stews. Thanks for being inventive and keeping the content coming. I've been locked down for 9 weeks and your uploads are greatly appreciated.
Anna Mcarthur I’d take vegemite on hot buttered toast for any meal of the day😋
I’m so excited to try it when we get to Australia. Thin layer right?? Like butter??
DjusLife definitely super thin if you’ve not had it before😊
i LOVE seeing how you guys have matured because of your traveling experiences. it feels so refreshing to know that you guys appreciate other cultures despite them being “strange” ❤️
Thank you for the "Top" video series. Love it, and eagerly wait for new videos. I also love that I can watch your videos with my 4 year old around and not worry that there is anything to be offended about.
🥰❤️
Appreciate the new content and how open minded you guys are. Stay safe.
Thanks for the recap, so enjoying during this difficult time.
I love how y'all put in the extra time and effort to make a new intro/recap for every video.
These reflection videos are the best!! Its like we get to relive these moments with y'all and its kinda satisfying the travel itch
