I enjoyed every video that you put out I learn something each time I'm about to get ready to build my own Grand hauler so I've been going through and I saved your video step-by-step to put it together imma go ahead and do the lights and everything when I start doing it but thank you for all your help and wisdom and keep putting out the great videos of building these
I've been building Tamiya RC cars since the 80's and recently got the Cascadia with MFC-01 and a Spektrum DX6e, thank you for your videos they made getting everything set up a snap! I also like my transmission shift servo on a 3 position switch, something I discovered but you didn't mention is the MFC when it changes gears also changes the power available from the throttle. In 1st you have about 1/3 throttle, 2nd about 2/3 and in 3rd full speed is available. Because of this it's important to mix your 3 position switch for shifting to the L-R on the left stick, plus by doing this you get the gear shift sound effects too. Also nifty is if you assign a 2 position switch to turn this mixing on and off you can independently change the throttle power settings from the gear you're in. Make sure you set the mix correctly otherwise you'll have full power in 1st and only 1/3 power in 3rd, which could also be interesting I suppose. Cheers!

After all these years, I found my shelf queen KING TIGER buried amidst books and junk......it's in desperate need of some TLC....... I'm not up to that task just yet......one model at a time. All of my crummy transmitters from 25 years ago are analog!!!! That digital radio is sweet.........gotta get me one of those little buggers!!!! Which one should I buy???? 4ch, 6ch, 10ch........more channels???? You sure are educating me fast and getting me up speed........still soooooo much more to learn.
I really like the inexpensive Turnigy TGY-i6 (the one in the video). If you go to my video on modifyng the radio I have a purchase link in the description. I am going to be doing some videos soon on the Tamiya Tanks. I have a Tiger 1 purchased used and will be doing a restore video on it. Pluse I have several new ones to do build videos on. I like this model because it has a wheel as opposed to a standard gimbal for steering. 6 channels should be plenty for now. I'm glad I watched your radio mod vid so that if the time comes at least I'll know how to do it. correctly.......I'm guessing it's basically the same for most radios. I don't wanna get too far ahead of myself........one model at a time. You have a nice, clean, well organized RC Workstation setup......I live in an apt so real estate is limited. I'm still sorting out a permanent parking area for my HEMTT and its associated gear, tools...etc.

I think you made a mistake on your assignment of the motorised support legs you won't be able to control them properly but the rest of your video is awesome it answers a couple of problems I've been having with my setup on my dx6e. I also modified my setup by adding a controller to the coupler micro switch so I now have 6 gears instead of 3. I used Terri Wilde's setup for my dx6e but yours is a little better.
I am pretty sure I can make them work but if not will put them on the left stick left and right or a knob. I am going to build an Scania with 5 axels and will put them on the trailer for that truck.
Hi there, I have a Cascadia Evolution and Im using the DX6e controller. I have followed your instructions when programing the controller and did my testing. Everything is working as planned except when I flip the dual rate (Channel C), and toggle though my lights, they dont work. What do you think my issue is? Thanks for the great vids !
I can not get the switch A dual rate to work,i followed your video and printed instructions you sent with the center steering mod but in both positions it stays at 75% and i can not get anything but the horn to work on channel 2.

Your video has given me new hope for my models. I am just finishing my sixth truck and I bought Futaba Attack transmitters for each of them. I have never been able to get the controller to work properly. the driving functions work right but not the accessory functions. After watching your video I bought this exact Turnigy controller, followed your instructions, and it works great. Now I have 8 Futaba controllers that I don't know how to program. do you have any videos that can help me?
I still owe you a huge thank you even if you can't help with the Futaba controllers. I bought 4 more Turnigy's and will replace all of the Futaba's. Following your videos I was able to get ALL of the features to work, even the trailer features.

J1 goes to Channel 1, J6 goes to channel 2, J5 goes to channel 3, J7 goes to channel 5. Make sure you have the negative (black wires) on the outside edge.

Yes, it will work fine. Set the dual rates to 75% and 100%

If everything else works like the horn and emergency flashers I would try re-mapping the radio.

Turn radio transmitter off,,engine will cut off ,turn on,,the truck will start.

When you turned your switch down to 75% was that making the motor run up to 75% of the full speed?
No, the 75% is only for the 2 spare channels.
With the remote setup you have can you run the lights when driving the truck

I got my shift servo going and my steering servo working, but my motor will not run, I have sound but no motor.

I have the grand hasuler using the mfc -30 euro, for some reason my motor wont work, the bells and whistles work, but no movement from the motor?
I could be the switch on the MFC being in the wrong position.

I think it is the center position. You can try them all without issues.

Yep, but you have to modify it. After that it will no longer be suitable for airplanes.

Many other radios will work but most are hard to make the centering left stick mod. That is why I ONLY use the Turnigy or FlySki
