Kevin, have you ever done the input shaft bearing on one of these cars? I'm looking to tackle it with my brother but there aren't any videos on it. May as well do the clutch whilst we are it, seeing as you documented everything on this How-To 😂
I notice u leave the one axle completely alone. It serves to stabilize when u reinstall trans. Have u always done it that way? Only on cars that allow the trans to move straight off the axle. Correct?
Great observation Bill.., I do that with all Nissan as well. Because the input shaft are quite short and doesn’t need a lot of room on the other side to pull out the box. I did it on the Renault Van as well that I posted last week.

Ok many thanks Kevin
I have the same model how much was this to do?
Hi Kevin. I changed my clutch my self after watching your job but something i missed up i think because if the engine is off i can shift easily but when the engine is running I almost can not put the shifter in the gear. Can you help where can I find the problem? 😔
Very easy. You need to bleed the clutch. There is air in the hydraulic system.
Otherwise open the brake fluid cap and continuously pump the pedal.
@@WMCS First of all big thanks for your answer 😁 I was in a service they bleed it out, but still the same. I give a try on your way 😊
Kevin, have you ever done the input shaft bearing on one of these cars? I'm looking to tackle it with my brother but there aren't any videos on it. May as well do the clutch whilst we are it, seeing as you documented everything on this How-To 😂
If you meant the lay shaft bearing.
Just split the gearbox casing and it’ll be inside the back casing itself.
@@WMCS it's the bearing underneath the gears. Right now my gearbox is rattling when driving in low revs between gears 1 and 3.
Great video and great job, but man, lots of things had to be removed. Not easy by any standards. Thanks.
great work! is this i shift(automatic) transmissio or manunal transmisson?
Just a manual one
@@WMCS just wondering that is there any calibration require after replacing of automatic ones? Or is that same with manual ones?
Hello mate, is this clutch replacement, similar with the clutch on the I-shift gearbox?
It done one yet.
@@WMCS don't understand what you mean by, it done one yet!
Thanks
Why did you disconnect the driver side driveshaft, doesn't it just slide off once the other side is off?
No it doesn’t mate. Theta are two separate components.
Whatever you charge for this service you can double it in the states. A good mechanic shop will make this a 3-4day job charging $1000-2000
Wow .. really ?! A bit pricey tho. Over here most will scrap the cars for that price.
how heavy is that gearbox?
I have the same car same here I don't know if I would have the confidence to do this on my own
An extra pair of hands will go a long way.
Con que líquido limpias el volante motor ?....

What's the rough Weight of this gearbox Please Kevin. and Brilliant job btw :)
which impact wrench do you use. please provide a link :)
He uses a Milwaukee M18 Fuel one.
Helped me to get my civic done. Big Thanks mate!! Sub from me 👍🏻
Thanks for the sun Chris. Glad to know the video came in handy.
Any one know the diameter of the bearing/bush in the centre of the fly wheel?
..
i never knew you can use rubber grease on the shaft.
De q pais você e ???
Vollprofi 👌
Are you wearing russian Gorka?
Hello. First of all fantastic flawless job.you made it look so simple. I’m going to be doing this over the Christmas period as mine is slipping . Looking forward to the job. Might be a bit a daft question, but once you had reassembled it all and undid the sensor at the end, what did you syringe into the clutch, what did you use. Thank you for your video and keep up the awesome work
