I have this bow in a 40lb, 45lb, and 50lb. My draw length is 29.7in. Each bow shoots very well. I'm slinging 31in, 400 spine, 100gr tips very accurately at 10-25yds. These bows are affordable. Side note: I used to work in manufacturing in Asia for the Outdoor and Shooting sports industry. We can all knock China. A lot of products are manufactured well in CN. Cheers
That is a nice bow, I was even going to get one until I saw a video on RUclips where a guy had the same bow, same weight, and he said the riser snapped on him after about a week of use! But hey sometimes you just get a defective product. One example is where many people have reported that their limbs blew up on their Black Hunter bow, yet the BGB is supposedly one of the best bows you can get, especially for the price!
I have seen some flat limb Black hunter bows where they actually use flat limbs unlike the current Black Hunter models that are made or sold by Top Archery by the way. It had the same riser as the Black Hunter but with different shape to the top connection, so it is identical top limb to the bottom limb with the number stickers on both limbs.
Yes sir I have to agree I’m not sure how they do it, but I’m glad they do and for the most part they are absolutely amazing bow we all know how can get a Lemon in any thing you by. Thanks for the review. God Bless my friend
Diamond wood and other laminated woods is pretty cheaply manufactured nowadays and extremely tough, they buy huge slabs and send them to cnc by the batch, cnc with good programming is very accurate so only minor hand work is needed to finish the risers, so a riser probly cost them 3$ to make...then they can spend a bit more on the limbs, still batch made but probly hand finished by line workers...some factories are better at this step, hence the variations between brands
the bow needs a 9 on speed, put a ff string on it and it is shooting over 200fps. This bow is pretty much identical to the black hunter recurve, just different material in the riser
Yes, you are correct. I did test it with a fast flight string, and I got 201FPS for the 410-grain arrow and 188 FPS for the 515-grain arrow. The bow is very much like the Black Hunter. Thanks for watching.
Its all depends.if you shoot sporadically at the backyard, this bow wil do.if you want to have a wuality staff for hunting or sports, this is not the right choice for a long run
They sell both if you got the top archery website it clearly stated bamboo in the limbs and the price is about 40 dollars higher than on the Amazon site
Ordered twice and once the limbs were 5lbs less and the next time they were 5lbs more than ordered. The main issue I have is that this bow uses the same riser design as the Black Hunter (Junxing F171, F178). But the limb attachment is not compatible with Black hunter limbs. You would expect that a small company like Toparchery/Huntingdoor would have their bows following the existing standards. But for no good reason they decided that their riser and limbs not be compatible with anything else. So, Toaparchery you suck!

You can see the design influences of Acadian Woods and Blacktail Bows .
Which one is better? This one or the black hunter? Please give some bullet points on pros/cons of both.

@@fredtremblay9530 thank you, that makes sense for sure and I’m sure glad they do.
The riser look really nice
I use those same glove and armguard, I loved them once the leather pads on the fingers broke in.
Nice review. Thank you
With that short handle it looks like a 62 in.
Great video !!!!
Thanks it is a great bow

I thought so to but with a more curved arrow shelf on this bow then the true Black Hunter models.
50# - 50J. Very good !

Do you know if the Black Hunter longbow limbs would attach to this riser and work? It seems like they would.
Yes they fit perfectly I tried them myself no issues attaching them to the riser
Awesome, thanks for to response!
Have you had a chance to get your hands on Sanlida Royal X8 recurve?
Looks like a black hunter , just differnt wood , the riser looks the same.
It does. Even the cuts on the limbs where they attach to the riser look the same.
What sucks about living in the city is i cant shoot anywhere
I have the same bow at 50lbs. Can it be used to hunt black tail deer?
Yes it is more than accurate enough
What do you use as rest material?
I prefer a hair rest like the one used on old bear bows
Just looked it up and Amazon says that it has maple laminated limbs not Bamboo.
They sell both if you got the top archery website it clearly stated bamboo in the limbs and the price is about 40 dollars higher than on the Amazon site
Yes I ordered one off Amazon it's made with bamboo

So, Toaparchery you suck!
what is 60 AMO i no nothing about bows just clicked on your video
60 in AMO is the length of the bow unstrung so the bow is 5 feet long.
