Excellent review mate...answered all my questions with zero "ummms"!!!!. Finally, someone who actually rides and uses the item for its intended purpose. Mate I have owned them all....Giant Loop, Andy Straps, Kriega, Enduristan and Mosko Moto...In my opinion, all are way overpriced for what I consider to be a disposable item in the event of a fall. You are a well-spoken, funny guy, who doesn't take himself too seriously, but has obviously made the effort and spent a lot of time figuring out how to present your review professionally. Hopefully I will meet you out on the dirt one day.

Yeah mate I edited out a fair amount of umms lol, just a bad habit of mine. Yeah I 100% agree a lot of the panniers on the market today are super overpriced. I had also purchased a similar product Rhinowalk saddlebags 28L MT1448XL but used it with Rhinowalk universal saddle base MT002A as the base rack. Both work well on my African Twin Adventure Sport model 2018. Last December I travel about 6000km from Kuala Lumpur Malaysia to Phonsavan Laos without any problem. Even with speeds around 150-170 kph. The maximum speed I achieved was 200 kph. You may need to tie the bag with some cable tie to secure it. The product is waterproof so far. The cons for the saddlebag is it may take some time for you to fit the bag to your bike. But the price is reasonable for the quality you get. I like using this saddlebag because it snugly fits to my bike so it will balance the weight. There are no worries that the saddlebag may catch an object or car as the outline is narrow.

I have the same panniers and some 10L Rhinowalks mounted on the front crash bars. Just rode 4500km with them. Dropped the bike slightly damaged one of the front 10L but was amazed didn’t cause more damage. Would buy again. To avoid the plastics scratches from dust, apply duct tape to the plastics prior.

Ha ha 10 points for the blooper reel, we all do it and sometimes you just can’t get out what you want to say ha ha. Top stuff. But yeah I’d hate to go out and drop a bike on a $1000 set of panniers. And with all the punishment you’ve already dished out to these ones it’s proof the cheaper option isn’t the bad one like it once was. The cheaper stuff on the market now is a lot better quality then it was 10 years ago.
And with soo many different brands on the market as someone looking to get a set it’s reviews like this that help alot in the decision making. Thanks for the review man

Great review. I'm planning on getting a set for my Transalp but I'm looking for thoughts on size - these would be 12 litres per side, which sounds small, but there is also a larger 48L one that is 24L per side. I prefer smaller if possible - do you think the 24L size is adequate for a few days moto-camping, when combined with another bag across the passenger seat?

All soft panniers will do that. Or rather dust and all the dirt that gets in between the plastic covers and the luggage. You need to protect the side covers somehow. Either with some ducktape, car wrap or light side rack (adventure spec or bulldozer have those for T7).
