Ironically, I saw a Hellcat Charger on there earlier this week. I believe it was a 22 model with 21K miles. At the time, the highest bid was 26K and it had a day left to bid for it. No idea what the highest bid ended up being at the end.
Even if the bid went up to 30K, that's still an insane price for a Hellcat.

In Maryland only state troopers can verify a salvaged vehicle and they check all of the vin locations to make sure everything matches. If it doesn't they run the vins on the spot before they stamp the title. I'm not gonna name the states that dont do it 🤣

I'd like to know where you're getting totaled out once for dirt cheap. Cuz I'm a member of Copart and those cars are not going cheap not even the ones that are totaled. Don't get me wrong it would be cheaper than buying a new one. But do you really want to take that risk of getting caught

honestly chargers and challengers no matter the trim level, they are starting to get played out pretty much. it the same old thing. Power, sound, speed, the same look, and Those cars being stolen. You're not unique if you have a charger/challenger because everyone else has the same car LOL. I guess its personal preference, but I highly doubt it that's. People want to show off their car going to car meets and parking next 20 other chargers/challengers on the same row LOL but that just my opinion.
What about the part where they won't let you register it because you're using the paperwork of a total vehicle? The only way I know of to move forward is to bring the vehicle to the police. Let them inspect it to see that it's been properly repaired and search for all the hidden vins and make sure it's not stolen.
In most states if it’s salvaged it just needs to be certified by a shop with a mechanic that’s certified

This only works if the auction car has a clean title. You can't register a Salvage titled car
I registered a salvage title in SC. The car was from Washington State. As long as you pass inspections in certain states it can be titled.
The process requires an inspection by law enforcement & motor vehicles.
You will need detailed receipts for all the parts and repairs.
They’re going to check ALL the vins & they can tell if something isn’t right(it’s their job).
Even if everything is legit a rebuilt title vehicle is not worth what a clean title one is & some insurance companies will not insure it.
Just too much hassle to be worth it.

That's a solid price, depending what state the rebuilt title was issued out of. Make sure it's not salvage, and if you live in a state like GA rebuilt title is very strict and require many inspections
