Yes, I feel the same way about the percussion part. Perhaps the percussion could stand some parallel compression to increase the "power" behind it? The overall mix could also use less compression, in retrospect. I really hit this one hard. And, yeah, those grainy, digital modulations sound awesome (beautiful?) when fed into a delay. It's a very atmospheric and otherworldly sound (there aren't really any parallels to it in everyday experience.)
