Wow what a clean looking city. Freeways are super wide. There is a beautiful secondary downtown that never gets shown in the movies.. Houston should be up there with Chicago, LA and NYC with these areal shots
I always wanted to see Houston from above...now I can. I used to take photos of the Galleria and downtown from the highest part of an overpass, bit it is nothing compared to this wonderful video. Thank you for posting it! I love Houston🎶 because it is deep in the heart of Texas⭐️

NYC and Los Angeles has a lot of traffic, but they're doing nothing to reduce traffic jams. Houston has a lot of traffic too, but at least they're making improvements on their highways to cut driving time.
Highways are simply not the way to reduce traffic. These shots are really nice and the city looks nice but this is just not the way to go and there is so much data to back it up it's insane so little changes are being made.
I've lived in Houston since 1989 and watched it explode. But, he must have gone out of his way to find low traffic times because freeways are rarely this clear, even during the night. This might be an early Sunday morning or maybe a major holiday that keeps people off the roads, I'm guessing. They don't look this clear generally (and unfortunately).
Traffic really isn’t that bad these days since the completion of the 290, southeast bw, and 288 projects. After 7 it’s okay. Used to be more like 8:30pm
@@kaymillerfromTXall widening projects speed traffic up for max 1/2 years, then on avg the traffic increases due to induced demand sadly... I'm not making this up but there is a lot of evidence for this, I hope they'll do something about it soon!
@@lorenzorota1555 included demand is not a thing. It’s a theory that’s been debunked. When I10 was widened in Houston, people said oh nooooooes traffic is the same. No one mentions the over 3 MILLION PERSON increase in the metro area or that it’s one of the nations most important freight routes. Not to mention traffic ends sooner than before. Do you honestly think 3 million people moved to Houston because of a few additional lanes? No. It was the economy. The road helped. And y’all ignore that 4 dedicated lanes for METRO made public bus transit FASTER
@@kaymillerfromTX I'm sorry if I wrote a very long message but I do care a lot about this topic and I hope something will change over time... Scientists all over the world agree on how unsustainable this is both economically and environmentally speaking. I don't want to see the USA go bankrupt but I kinda feel like if nothing changes that's sadly what is slowly going to happen.
I like the shots but its so sad that this is seen as a good thing... Cities should be more than cars and freeways, imagine what the amount of deforestation and pollution this whole thing caused and is causing!! I really hope the US population will realize that cities dont have to be noisy and polluted but that they can still be busy with people and stuff to do without any of these huge downsides :( Thank you for the nice shots though, the angles and the quality is perfect!
Perfect shots of the city. That’s a proper Houston video, not just of downtown. Subbed!
Wow beautiful place
I love this amazing city ! I’ve been here a couple times, may God bless Houston and the US !🇺🇸
Wow! Houston looks like a proper huge city. Even Dallas doesn't compare. A viewer from NYC
Best video about Houston freeways and interchanges i ever seen ! Awsome !👍

Houston's clout is growing.
Houston was just ranked the dirtiest city in the United States 😅

thanks for your comment. I took this shot during the pandemic. Houston traffic is usually the worst in the US, but it was empty that time.
