I have a question... During the 1914-1918 a person earns the Non-combatant. Lets say he was a member if the clergy. He lost his faith and quit the clergy. Later, he enlists in the wehrmacht as a regular soldier; 1938. For a bravery act he earns the 1939 Iron Cross. Question: How would this man will wear the new iron cross? a) The Spange Will Go on the 1914-18 white ribbon?, b) Since he earned it for a bravery act, the 1914-18 non combatant, will turn to a black ribbon, then the spange will go in the combatant cross, c) Will earn a war merit cross with swords instead; d) Will wear both iron crosses; the 1914-18 & the 1939. e) Non of the above, will wear the new iron cross instead. Please advise and thank you! jh 👽 Sent from my iPad Pro 3 1TB 👽
I have a question. I have one of those German artillery caps’ what material is the visor part supposed to be? I got one and i want to make sure it’s real.
I have a M40 luftwaffe helmet with a dent and a couple of scratches how much do you think one of them would cost. this is the only one I’ve ever seen I tried finding it online and couldn’t so I’d be nice to get a price for it.
M40 Luftwaffe? - depending on the condition, the state of the decal, and liner 200 - 700. The better the condition, the higher the price. Could only tell you if you could provide pictures of it. If you want i can tell you my email, so you could send them.
Most militaria is going up in prices, but believe me this won't last much longer, because as far as i know many people who collect this stuff are not rich, mostly midle class, and prices are really starting to be insane. 200+ for a normal iron cross second class, 800+ for normal german caps, 1000+ for regular uniforms... etc. And also the coronavirus is going to affect the economy soon. And you will always hear from dealer how rare items are, well yes mint and high end items are rare but there is still thousands and thosands of nice items out there in collections or to be found. I live in europe and do metal detecting and searching old houses. You wouldn't belive how much of this stuff is still out there. The dealers are those who made such prices and gredy people who think more of doing profit than actual history. I also see a decline of "new blod" and new collectors in the hobby, most likely because of todays politics and also lak of interest because the war was more than 70 years ago and many of today's kids don't have the connection to this events anymore, and also because of the high prices and high end fakes. I also recently read about a study that less and less people are born with "collecting geens", (yes people are litteraly born collectors) they found out that there are a lot less young people today with those geens than older people. So collecting in general is dying.
@@superfuzzymomma Thank you. Just my toughts. I think collecting will sadly die off completly more or less in the next 50-100 years or so. And i also think that the very rare and realy historicaly important items should be in a museum or at least the owner of such important items should have them stored properly in a museum.
@@urban6517 as a former collector of militaria, rare books and guitars I absolutely stand in agreement with you and you made your point perfectly! I truly APPRECIATE you taking the time to comment, friend.
Too long winded..people just want to pay and receive our orders not mess around with bank details. Given you guys never answer emails or text too. And if you want us to help you then you help us, postage is £12 even on little items like a piece of cloth insignia or a badge?!? Ridiculous
I hear this guy charges top dollar for everything
My mouth salivates seeing all the German uniforms , hats and helmets etc. This is rediculously unbelievable!!
Mark up the item enough to cover paypal fees. Problem solved. Dealer prices are usually way higher than what its worth anyway.
You learn something new everything with your videos thank u
All I can say is WOW
Awesome helmet..WOW..great find!!!

Hi from the States,
Do Original German Ww2 helmets just keep going up and up in value, or is it me? Thank you for the information you provide!
