i feel like yall just told daryl to just "go do it" and this was the product. I approve.
Fire the genius came up with the idea of relocating the license plate on the spare wheel..
Get well man! Great video and better product!
great : awesome video and addressed everything .
Have y’all given any thought to doing something like this for the Lexus GX? I love the modular design and the fact you have a camera relocation kit is huge. I’ve been shopping around and haven’t seen anything this good for my 2015 GX. The only thing I could see it needing are the sensor locations...couldn’t tell if those were included.
Looks great, I just wish you'd designed it with all metric fasteners. It is so frustrating when aftermarket items use SAE fasteners on a Toyota. I'd really like to just carry my metric tools. But 1/4" bolts, 1/2" nut, 5/32" hex bolts... sigh.
100%!!! Also, PLEASE powder coat the hardware black. All this stuff coming with shiny metal just stands out.
Awesome!
Looks fantastic, and I'll be getting one. It looks like the cuts that were made on the vehicle plastics leave about an inch gap. Is that accurate? Is there a reason you don't instruct the cut to be at 5.25" or 5.5"? Seems like it would leave less of a gap between the bumper and plastics.
The gap does close with the vehicle out of the hoist (see our product photos) you can make it closer, but the bumper (and frame) flex independently of the body, so this gap will close up and/or rub when you are wheeling.
@@Victory4x4 Got it. I had looked at the pictures, but it was a gigger gap in the video. Makes sense about it being on the hoist. Thanks for the reply!
Great install video. Will this work on a 22 TRD off road with KDSS. I ask because I thought I read that it’s not. Compatible with 22+ or something wasn’t.
KDSS is fine. BSM and TSS would be an issue.
Is the camera blocked by the tire carrier? I was looking to do that and the ladder myself!
Does the Adventure Carrier come with shaft, bearings, seals, sleeve and needed hardware to install on a different bumper? Awesome bumper but I'm working on a 2nd gen 4runner and have some ideas. You've pretty much done the engineering for me. Just what I could be looking for. Thx.
Everything but the sleeve that's welded in the bumper is included with the adventure carrier.
@@Victory4x4 Thank you for the reply. I could make that work. I may be asking for your opinion on a sleeve, if that would be cool?
@@dhu1042476 if you call the sales team to order the spindle they may be able to include a sleeve with the order 269-353-1184.
Why do you mix metric and standard bolts?
Just ordered mine and have one quick question, which 3X3 lights did you use in this install? Any particular ones work better than others? Link?
They all fit pretty similarly. The ones we used in this video are discontinued, but we do offer Baja Designs lights on our site. We recommend the work/scene pattern for backup lights.

@@Victory4x4 I didn't see these on your site previously. I ended up ordering the similar units from Diode Dynamics. I have great luck with their fog lights.
Any place in Montreal can do this?
Do you do install of those for a client?
could one cut the fenders at a length of 5.5 inches to reduce the amount of space between bumper and body?
Yes, but you may have to deal with the body rubbing the bumper under flex.
If it's your own product why did you select materials that will corrode together?
Are you talking about the top cap for spindle? Aluminum is the best material option for this, and a little anti-seize on the threads will help with any issues.
What’s the measurements for a 4runner with a 1 inch body lift. Just extended it to 6 inches?
We would suggest sneaking up on the cut line with a 1" body lift, as they aren't always exactly 1".
is this install showing the right or left side swing out?
Right, but both install the same way!
is this a real question?
how much actual space do you end up with between where you made your bumper cut and the actual bumper once it is installed? I plan on purchasing this bumper in the next 2-3 weeks and am just a bit concerned about the amount of open space between the bumper and body cut line.
if you do any decent offroading you want a little space for any potential flex. That goes with any after market bumper. If you have it flush you'll have rubbing problems
Tommyfyeah workin on 4runners now?
Do you offer these installs? Location?
Not at this time. Our shop is in Portage, MI.
Ok for the mall crawl. Seems too delicate for the X roaders.
We test our products on trails 🤷
