Some women are lucky with financial support from their ex spouse. I must congratulate my friend who NEVER take her ex spouse to court for any child support. A single mother worked so hard to ensure both children attended independent school in the Uk. Luckily the children got some scholarship. Today one son is in PhD program as microbiologist and the other a lawyer. Both children has no student loan to pay back.

First l would like to state that l am not a fan of Davido, Sophia and Chioma. I am neutral. As for Sophia l think she should have moved on with her life after the failure of their first relationship. As for Chioma, l can see she loves suffering. She is in it for the money and fame. My prayer for her is that she does not contract an incurable disease from Davido and this marriage ends well. I don't really know why people support Davido with his bad character and lack of good home training. One thing struck me from Sophia's response. She deliberately omitted saging anything about the house Davido claimed he bought for her and his daughter for ₦200m. I believe Davido bought the house in his name. I dont believe Sophia is benifiting from ₦5m rent as she stays on the lsland where rent is high. Sophia cannot be expected to move into his house when he is not married to her in any way. As a mark of respect to Davido, she can't bring a man into that house. It gets worse if he decides to sleep overnight there. So Sophia's life will be limited. From Sophia's response, it is clear he stopped financially supporting his daughter because Davido's father had to step in and pay lmade's school fees and clear the backlog of school fees. If for example Sophia is asking for ₦100m a month and Davido is only ready to give ₦1m, Davido should have shown proof of the ₦1m he sent to Sophia. Finally l think Davido is mean and not a nice person. Why bring up this court matter so close to your wedding to Chioma instead of concentrating on your wedding. It was intended to mock and hurt Sophia and subject her to dragging by his fans while he is enjoying all the euphoria and hype associated with his getting married to Chioma. That to me is not fair and needs to be condemned. I believe Sophia's story but she has herself to blame. It was obvious Davido was not going to marry her even after temporarily breaking up with Chioma and Chioma moving on with another man and posting their vacation photos. Davido kept chasing Chioma, can you imagine? Still Sophia didn't get the message!!!!

I don't, understand this childish excuse Chioma and Davido fans keep using about "Sophia being bitter". Davido, went back to her and the only mistake she made was believing his lies when he and Chioma broke up. A LITTLE EDUCATION, not necessarily with regards to Davido's case.
"Sole Custody" doesn't mean the man is released from his financial obligations or fatherly duties. In every "sole custody", the other partner(man) is given visitation rights and access to the child's life, like education, hospital documents etc. The other partner(the man) can also make decisions/suggestions in the child's upbringing BUT, the final decison is made by the one who has "Sole Custody". And that is basically what "Sole custody" is. Most of the time, women get "sole custody" from men who r not always available for shared parenting due to many reasons. Shared parenting is a lot cos everything is mostly 50/50. The child is is here for a week, and there for a week etc. In short, "Sole custody" doesnt stop a father from being a father to his child, and vice versa. Thank u

There is NOTHING like a woman scorn… Well some women are sick and wicked, this happens with my daughter, took her mother to court in the UK 😂😂😂 Won my case, 50/50 custody, my daughter is now 19 years old, in Canterbury uni and hates her mother because she realised what she tried to do to her when she was keeping her away from me, and crying about “He doesn’t want to see you”… Why? Because we are NO longer an item and I moved on and remarried. But I would NEVER leave my seed somewhere with a single mother who is irresponsible, who would try and use the child as a weapon against me or against most men because we LOVE our children and that’s the only way they can use to hurt us 😂😂😂. I don't know how laws are in Nigeria but in Ghana both parents automatically have custody of the child.
Therefore one can only apply for sole custody or ascertain their right to access to the child.
