In this episode, I'm restoring the dashboard using a product I ordered from Turkey. The good thing is that I don't have to take out the dashboard. The additional coloring also gives it a whole new effect. There is nothing more to be said about it. The work speaks for itself.

Hi, Any chance you have done or plan to replace the heater blower unit please? I think mine has just expired and I'm looking to learn how to replace, thanks, keep up the great work.
Thanks Simon! It’s not planned yet but I have an issue with my heater. Probably it’s the heater unit. I will definitely take care of it but don’t know when.
Servus. Coole Videos machst du ist sehr hilfreich um sowas mal selbst zu machen. Ich hab gesehen du kommst auch aus Deutschland und ich fahre auch einen 190er. Deswegen wollte ich dich mal fragen ob du dich da im Bereich Armaturenbrett auskennst. Ich möchte mein Armaturenbrett gerne in beige Lackieren färben wie auch immer, da mein 190er bis auf das Armaturenbrett komplett beige ist. Kann man dafür einfach deine Gezeigte farbe in beige nehmen oder gibts da spezielle Farben? Weil ich finde im Internet keine Informationen oder Erfahrungen darüber.

Servus Leon, vielen Dank für dein Feedback! Ich habe nicht sehr viel Erfahrung was das lackieren angeht. Aber ich weiß, dass es spezielle Sprühfarben für Leder gibt. Die nennen sich leather dye. Eventuell kannst du das als Ansatz für deine Recherche nutzen. Falls du dich aber für meine Methode entscheidest, solltest du beachten, dass du schwarz mit einer hellen Farbe decken möchtest. Könnte sein, dass du eine größere Menge benötigst um es deckend zu haben und somit hättest du vielleicht eine etwas dickere Schicht. Hoffe dir damit geholfen zu haben. Bis dahin!

In particular I have interest on how to restore my dashboard, your video is very clear and show step by step how to do the job, but the problem that I faced is that I am not very sure that the products I saw in internet are the rights, therefore really appreciate if you can give me full details of the list of products I need and where to buy them, you talked in yoiur video tha you bought the full kit in Turkey, can you please provide to me full details? Hi Ivan, thank you for the feedback. It’s much appreciated! I tried to find the kit on the internet but it seems that it’s only available in Turkey and that they don’t offer world wide shipping. I had someone to bring them to Germany. The kit is called “Derby Siyah Oto Döşeme Boya Seti ve Deri Çatlak Giderici Dolgu Tamir Macunu”. It contains the leather filler, paint and primer. I hope that this is helpful to find the right products.

I checked many online shops but unfortunately this product/brand is not available in Germany. If you know someone who is going to do a trip to Turkey you could ask him. This is how I got my set. But I guess you can also use other leather filler and paint with leather paint. I hope this helps you out.

Я реставрировал панель с полным демонтажем. Закурил трещины с заглублением на2- 3 мм. Нанёс на место ремонта полиуретановый автомобильный герметик, армировал его стекловолокна. После отвержение прошлифовал вровень с плоскостью панели. Обтянутой всю панель красивой светло-коричневой экокожей. Красиво, как в ролс-ройсе. Без армирования трещины появятся вновь.
