i'm not sure if you mentioned it but you did NOT have any haze in your garage when you had this on did you? I felt like you could still see everything really well!
I probably could have adjusted the beam focus, and it's so bright that my camera was struggling to capture it. Also imo gobos don't matter as much on beams as they do on spots
For DJing, I personally like Shehds 160w 3-in-1 or the both lighting mh-150. This light is extremely bright and would do better for a club, concert or big venue. I see some djs use the 7r beams, and this is an upgraded version of those
There's like no happy medium for Chinese hybrids, they're all very big and expensive. Both lighting has a 300w one but it's almost as much as the chauvet hybrid 140sr. Which at that point, just go chauvet lol
@DJDarylBennett the new 230w 7r model is called a Shehds Superbeam it's using a 7r lamp still but is similar design to what you have featured here but only has an 8 facet prism which puts me off as even the original 230w 7r has a 24 facet big prism.
really solid review, I've been hesitant on buying either this or the 300w LED bulb version.
Thank you! I know that they maybe comparable since discharge lamps are brighter and more lightweight than leds of the same brightness
Great Review of a cheap big mover. The led version of this 10r would be safer I think
I think a 275W LED beam would be bigger in size, but there's a lot to like with LEDs over osram bulbs
How do you program it? I bought one but just need it to act like a prison spotlight (Halloween show) for now. So just a solid beam that moves around.
I saw a video last year from DJ JayBook showcasing moving heads from SheHds and one of them literally fell apart during a wedding gig ⚒️🔧
Yikes that would suck! I've used Shehds movers for many gigs and gig logs and they've been solid thus far
I have had good experiences with my shehds lights as well.

Yes I did, I usually do for demos
I like the light - is it me, or do the gobos look like they're coming out of the bottom of a glass bottle? Missing the crispy gobo 🤔

What you recomment for weddings with 400-500 people? 10R or 7R? Thanks!
Either would be a good effect.
@@DJDarylBennett i need 4pcs but i’m very undecided.. I wanted to order 10r, but I seem to be winking at 7r
Another great video. So if money isn't an option, do you recommend the Both Lighting MH-150s or Shehds Beam 275W 10r?

I money wasnt a factor, which moving head would you keep for all your gigs: this Shehds 275w 10r Beam or the Chauvet 140 SR hybrid ?
The hybrid 140sr by a mile
Just need a hybrid beam and wash, and we are in business.

@@DJDarylBennett thanks for the video reviews, is this Shehds 275w 10r Beam more powerful and versatile then the Chauvet 140 SR hybrid ?
can you do a review on the Led version. ?
I'll see what I can do
what software do you use to control this light
Using SoundSwitch
can you do the new 230w beam that came out?
This is supposed to be an upgrade to that one

Does anyone know how many of these can connect to a 15amp breaker?
I think they are ~360w or about 3amp @ 120v
Keep a 20% headroom. You could fit 4 of those on a 15 amp, maybe 5 if you trust your electrical.
Its not budget tho but alr-
Compared to Clay Paky or Chauvet professional they are.
