Hey bro thanks for the video very helpful What would you recommend for a dmx unit to run both of them at the same time so one is mirroring the other one
I had 4 of these and after a few months had numerous issues with them and one serious issue ,so sent them back a bought 4 ex hire robe 1200ats that came to the same price as 4 of these shedhs only thing I had to replace was the lamps and they came with flight case
@@pawlikp100 the mounting brackets work themselves loose while the fixture is in use and being a experienced lighting and sound technician i made sure they were tightened up to maximum but thank god i had safety bonds attached to them to stop them falling off the truss ,the colour wheels kept jamming and when the fixtures where in use on 3 of the fixtures the dimmer shutters kept shutting randomly and took 10 minutes for the dimmer shutters to reopen even tried resetting them from my grandMA ultralight console and made no difference and they were self destructing their lamps within a couple of days or being replaced so if anyone wants good reliable fixtures look at chauvet
Hi, on the first page of the manual it states "Beam angle: parallel beam angle 0 ° - 2.3 ° " and " Atomizing light angle 8 ° " Does this light go from spot to beam ? Thank-you
@@Zexan00000 I'd suggest the newer 300w glaxyjet if you are ordering now. Just did a review recently, brighter and feature packed. I just ordered a second one and road case
I'm looking for movers that has built in wireless DMX. I want to skip on wiring and dangles. Do they exist? If they can do wireless uplights successfully, do they do the same for moving heads? If so, which model would you recommend? Thanks
Thanks for looking ! Are you able to make a video of the Zoom on the 230w spots , you concerned me when you said the range was much less than stated on the sheds website ! Thank you so much for doing these videos !!
@@lukepritchard5713 if you could shoot me an email to alex@djalexbrown.com I’ll pull one out next week and make a short for it or something, maybe I’ll go through the trig to do the math and see what it actually is
Hey alex thanks for making videos about shehds..i hve some shehds movers already but i thinking to buy this spot230w shehds ..could you upload some of your event using this so we can see longer scene from this mover..tia
look for anything IP rated, but you might want to consider getting regular heads and getting enclosures depending on how much freeze and thaw you see in your area, waterproof may not be enough to protect the lights depending on the construction
Because this is a spot, not a beam... very different functionality. Trying my best with translate and knowledge here: Parce que c'est un spot, pas un beam... très différente luminaire.
The 275 watt 10R is cheaper than this model, any reason why you didn't go with that option instead of the 230 watt ???
The 275w 10r is BEAM…and this mover is a SPOT
@@carlgoyal58 And if you watch the entire video, would hear me explain why I don't like dealing with lamps and prefer LED's

What you are describing is probably a pan/tilt inversion, which you can do right on the light

What problem did you have with those fixtures. Can you describe shortly those issues?

No but the light does have a fairly tight beam angle

Hi, is it possible to run those lights with the newest Wolfmix?
Can you say that they are a hybrid between beam and spot? It's not clear from the video but are they 230w? A thousand thanks!
Those moving heads are spots
Thanks for the review! In your opinion which one do you recommend the most, the 160 you did in the last video or this 230?
definately the 230 imo
@@DJALEXBROWN awesome thanks! Happy DJing my brother!
I have a video of these on my channel fixtures in use in a live band production along with the 19x15W zoom washes

Not that I know of from china
Have you seen the 300w 3in1 ? There in the new section on sheds website, curious how they compare to these? thank you
I just took a look at it, seems like a nice light, but lacks 2 prisms which was the sell on this for me

Can you recommend moving heads that are water proof such that I can use outside in a Xmas light show?
Chauvet are best for that also make sure they are ip rated
