In this tutorial, I am going to use and review the new Carol's Daughter Sacred Tiare line I received in my March Curlbox on my baby sister's hair.
Note: This line can be used for non-heat, natural styling as well as straightening. It is not considered a "straightening system," but it is ideal for those who need help controlling frizz while adding moisture and strength to the hair. There are no permanent or straightening chemicals in any of these products.
The Carol's Daughter Sacred Tiare line is designed to help stop breakage and eliminate frizz on the styling end. The line features several products, available exclusively at Target stores and online. In this tutorial, I use and review four of the six products available in this line.
Sulfate-Free Shampoo is safe for all hair types, even color treated tresses, and it helps stop shedding and breakage. The formula is infused with protein rich copra coconut oil blended with Tiare Gardenia Flower, and frizz-stopping Shea Butter and Moringa Seed Oil to cleanse and detangle, while restoring strength for smooth, sleek results. The 12 oz. goes for $12.
Fortifying Conditioner includes nourishing ingredients such as shea butter, coconut oil, vitamin B5, jojoba oil, hibiscus and tiare gardenia flower that help repair and make the hair stronger for styling. The 12 oz. is available at Target for $14.
What I loved about this shampoo and conditioner duo was the silky texture and amazing smell...it has a sweet floral smell that is noticeable, but not too fragrant. I also could feel the slip when applying the conditioner and I only needed one pump of the shampoo, so that tells me it's packed with the good stuff, and not a bunch of fillers.
Leave-In Conditioner aids in detangling and helps stop breakage and frizz in the days after use. This formula is packed with essential nutrients like Vitamin B5, aloe leaf, honeysuckle and coconut oil to leave the hair soft and manageable. The 12 oz. is just $12.
Styling Cream doubles as a heat protectant. It contains a bit of dimethocone, which is a silicone fiber used in many heat protectants to coat the hair and protect it from heat damage. The formula also contains silk fibers to keep the hair sleek and frizz-free after styling. Ingredients like olive oil, shea butter and jojoba are also in there to keep the strands moisturized. And no worries, if you have issues with product build-up, just use a clarifying shampoo on your next wash.
    Other Products and Tools:
    Chi Deep Brilliance Reflect
FHI Platform Series 1-inch Ceramic Flat Iron
    Total Time:
Total style time was an hour and forty-five minutes.
    Keep and Care:
To maintain this style, you can wrap your hair around your head and secure with a satin or silk scarf. If you are active, and sweat in your scalp, try my straight hair maintenance method to restore your hair after workouts.

Just seeing you do your sister's hair makes me think of how sad my family is. I have an older sister but no one is close. I get so sad because I feel so robbed of the simple and comforting things like a bond between siblings and being groomed by and older sibling. SMH😥 When God blesses me with my husband, I will teach my babies how to love and the importance of family. God bless you guys.

Your sister I think have 3 A or B hair texture and everybody cannot do they hear that way so when you started your Oreo you should have mentioned that your sister has a 3A a b or c hair texture because everybody will be using this carol daughter product and thinking that they here will turn out the same way

Yes a lot of sisters are enclosed and that is very sad that we move across state we don't talk to each other for months sometime for years a lady was just telling me about her family Arena because it's Christmas time here and it's sad how family divides our self and we go on and go in and take to other families so freely without fixing the problems in our family especially sisters I mean Brothers 2 but it is very sad because I had that in my family and I still do they will make a effort to cling to other people's family that are just as bad as the family that they tried to get away from but they'll make it work with somebody else's family and not their family and the only time you'll see them is at a funeral and they'll talk about oh we going to call each other and they never call you and I got totally honest and I said you're not going to call me so they thought I was trying to start a feud know I was telling the truth and that's all to it and I'm sorry for so many whose families have been broken up for crazy reasons and we still have telephones we can call each other and say how are you doing

Same. I know this is an old comment and im not sure how old you are but I hope you are still working towards this. I had a broken family with kids in different house holds. I was always the “other” one and not close with anyone. My husband and I and different and will be different with our kids.

Her hair is absolutely gorgeous!! RUclips recommended your channel to me just yesterday and I'm so glad they did! Your tutorials are so informational without all the jibber jabber like some of the others. Thanks for not not shoving the products into the camera while we wait until it focuses so we can read the bottle/jar. Thanks for not saying "yeah" a thousand times in your videos. Thanks for not showing the amount of product in your hand, again shoving that into the camera. Your tutorials are full of knowledge and I thank you so much!!

back in the day....I'm 35 years old and my mother used this method on me since I was 4 years of age and with my hair down to my hips....I still do it today on my natural hair...I don't like to use the flat iron afterwards because I like the body and bounce...but it also helps when using a very good brand of shampoo. Loreal used to sell a set at Dillards back in 2003 it was expensive but it would leave my hair with so much shine and very smooth as if I had put a perm or blow dried my hair. I will try this product with Carol's daughter.... I hope it works

God gets all the glory. I so happy you have time in your schedule to apply hair care to your sister's hair. I cannot convince my sister, although I am not an expert. I've been advocating for this system to be added to the schedule since losing employment in 2011. Unfortunately, they would rather pay an experience stylist! Well, thr great thing about it this is when it's time for her to meet a man or find an objectives she invest most of her time in, this relationship & support (hair care) will be a great sign she has support in pursuing healthier lifestyle. Thank you. Thank, MO. (I am 40 years of age. I am not in collaboration with anyone. I thought about visiting. And just could not make it. Don't you offer your services to me for free. Lol. We do not know each other, but I promise I'll see you in the future)

So I tried this tonight, my hair is super long (about tailbone length) and about the same curl pattern (maybe a little tighter wave - all this hair typing stuff is so confusing) as the sister's. I think the length kept mine from drying as straight. Excited to see what I get in the morning - will report back :-) thanks Mo for bringing back a classic

Amazing! You put ur foot in it. In all reality Carol's Daughter is good. You just have to find the right product(s). My hair has been so dry and messed up lately with a lot of breakage due to problems with my gallbladder. But I had removed last week. Now it's time for my hair to recover. For some reason I hadn't used the Monoi Strengthening serum in ages but I put some on my hair last night and my hair was 100% better and moisturized. Besides my beautician you would be allowed to touch my hair.

I also have naturally curly hair and since my big chop I told myself I wouldn't straighten it anymore. However I've done a few fashion shows since then and they have asked for straight hair and I've had to give in to the heat about twice already in 2 years. I remember my aunt used to use the wrap straightening method when I was younger so this video bright back a lot of memories! I'm going to try it again and if it doesn't come out as straight I'm glad to know I can run a flat iron through but that it will be a minimal amount of heat. Sorry this message was so long.
