One of the things I was thinking they should do is resurrect every design from the past on every coin denomination for each year..
For example on the penny start with the chain design for the first year and continue on..
Beginning with the draped bust on all the other denominations and so forth!
    Would be really patriotic!

The shady governments are the reason I stack in the first place, for that reason I don't want their stuff in the first place, nor some monarchs face on my silver.
Personally I prefer the private mint stuff, plenty of good designs out there if that's what its all about, but regardless I'll take a plain bar over any government issue anyway.
Not to mention this stuff will come with a 500% premium, no competition on my part.

There were only 1758 of the 1794 dollars screw pressed on a half- dollar press. It was tilted and offset so that all but one (the MS-60, the highest graded 10 M+ at auction, I believe resold higher) has a barely visible 4. The upper die was fixed and tilted. I could never afford one of these I have seen or had many of the numerous die varieties of the 6 month run if the 1795 Flowing Hairs. Their is a continally updated book of the nunerous die varieties of 1795s. Its a specialty. The Draped Bust replaced the Flowing Hair halfway thru 1795 because many objected to a little girl being lady Liberty and Washington said No real people on US coins ever. We just broke free of a monarchy & considered Congress as the primary Branch. The Supreme Ct made themselves the most powerful branch from a tiny basement room by eatablishing Judicial Review (power to strike down Congressional or Presidential actions) they deemed unconstitutional in the case of Marbury v. Madison. Lincoln was the first US real human face US struck coin in 1909. Washington medals were struck mostly in UK 😂. 🐥 Flowing Hairs say 100 cents on rim.

'In God We Trust did not appear on U.S. currency until 1957.
