I like hearing Jeff Christian talk about gold. I might even look into his advisory service. The only two people whose opinion I trust regarding gold are Jeff and Gary Wagner. You know Jeff has his head screwed on right when he dismisses both political parties! They will both act to drive gold higher! I'm more and more bullish on gold over the next year or two, maybe just a gut feeling. I thought I would not buy any more but if it slips down a few hundred bucks I think I will. Increasing costs from inflation (on fuel, labour, power) feed into mining costs hence helps increase prices over time. Not a major driver, but it should have a bearing.
If inflation and oil prices rise, the price of precious metals will also rise. Gold and silver miners are already making loads of money. It is already sloshing against the skirting boards of some miners.
@@rodie1969 that’s very true for some miners, but there is a huge sliding scale, so dependent on multiple variables will depend on the amount of sloshing around. It’s the cost baseline (a bit like the tide lifting all boats) that has to effect the production costs. Thanks for getting me to clarify this further. This reduction in purchasing power over decades, especially the last few years thanks to QE (Federal Reserve bank and printing currency-“Quantitive Easing” is the term they use to bamboozle you with). Note I said currency, not money printing as currency is definitely not money, the differences are vast. I agree some miners are making literally obscene profits, but one much consider these times are sparse and hence I hope they manage it well. Those companies that can not blow it will survive all winters (market cycles).
