Sewer level, how about that. So this stage is pretty much covered in Mettaurs. And not just any kind. These Mets shoot out sludge instead of bullets, which don't damage you, but instead make you slip and slide like you're on ice. The waterfalls also reduce your jump height when you're under them. There's a split in the stage near the beginning, the top part leaves you out of the water, but overall has more enemies, and the bottom leads you to some fans which will blow air bubbles that you need to use to traverse. There's also a lot more spikes down there.
Pump Man's thing is to summon his water shield, try to jump at you, and then release it after a while. When it releases it spreads out across the screen. Rinse and repeat, pun not intended, until defeat. You can take out each water pellet individually if you shoot it enough, although if you're close enough you can shoot right through the shield. __
