Yeah, it was a good call to add Ryu, boring ass Chun-Li and Akuma into the game. You can get Ryu's hadouken move in X1. You can also get boring ass Chun-Li's flaming shoryuken move in X2, and Magma Dragoon uses that move in X4. And Magma Dragoon has Akuma's dive kick as well as Akuma's symbol.

I gotta be honest, I'm still a bit upset about the fact we didn't get to see next DiVE armor Zero or Axl and not to mention some characters that's still missing, like Double, iX, and even Lumine! It feels like there's still so much missing that should at least be added!

A Zero and Vergil fusion is simply way too much for the Universe to behold, and there you have it, it should be beyond the chart though to be lore friendly for both of them. Also very nice touch to have Dr. Light Martial Artist, they nailed that one.
I love the idea Light does that stuff for casual focus training and exercise but he doesn't even think it's notable since robots can be shootin lasers and flying stuff. That's just normal martial arts there.
Really wish they had at least got every X armor out before the end, we missed Blade, Glide and the X8 armors. We also never got the rest of the 4 Guardians, or the boys from ZX, or any S Rank form of Geo like Tribe King or the Final Noises. Still, it was a fun romp while it lasted.
2:17 the fact that Magma Dragoon is a playable character and can imagine as a good just made this an instant buy when the new game is released. He’ll be my main all the way.

Even though DiVE is coming to a close online, your videos on it have been pretty much the history of the whole 4(?) Years of said game. The only question being if planned content that was ment to be in it like Hard versions of Chapter 19 & 20, would you still show them?
Thank God its closing. The roster is awesome, and I love all of these skins and variants. But the game was complete trash. Just one big grind after the next, all trying to strongarm you into rng microtransactions. The levels are so short (MMX stages are broken up into 4-5 sections) that you never get into a proper flow state like in the old games. Very little skill here, its mostly just about having big numbers. And that tutorial at the beginning is literally hours long, EVERY menu needs that girl to walk you through and demonstrate exactly how it works in excruciating detail.
That's the problem with most games like this. It's fun until you reach the limited of game as a freeloader until you have to make microtransaction on them.
I still love how in the event with the giant Servebot it does an X arm gesture and someone once asked the devs if it's a Black Panther reference and they just said, "Wakanda Forever".

Holy crap that Vergil Zero skin goes hard knowing that these 2 are the most top tier characters in Marvel and the most popular. Imagine if this was in an official game. There's so much love and dedication that Capcom fans hardly know about, I only know of it cause Capcom's Mega Man account is currently spamming with character trailers, shame that these crossover ones will go away. I'd love to see a X and Zero skin in DMC5 just for the hell of it.

I kinda believe that X Dive should have been like FGO history-wise, instead of bugs corrupting the data of the games, we, as players, could have fought in those same events that shaped the classic and X timeline, correcting them and all that, the bug-corrupting history just doesn't make me all that invested, dunno, just dumping my thoughts about the game
You know, for a franchise that's known for having some awesome robots, this game sure had a strange fascination with the female characters instead. 💀 Hopefully mods for Offline will make it even better. Considering that this was a mobile game, I expect there to be a lot more interesting new characters even with unique animations, sounds, and weapons in the future. (I don't know anything about modding but I'd imagine it'll at least be a lot easier to mod for this than something like Mega Man 11 for example) There's literally hundreds of characters you could add from the classic and X related series' alone btw, *hundreds.* And don't even get me started on stuff like non-canon games, cartoons, comics, scrapped bosses, alternate designs, even quite a few fan made ones from a good amount of fan games, etc.
The thing about modding is that unless you got talented model artists (3D Models) who know a thing about rigging and doing animations, etc, mods won't take off aside from stat changes and maybe imports if that kind of thing is possible. Take Stellaris for example which is a highly moddable game on steam, most new graphical additions are imports and even then there aren't a lot of them. Most mods apply PNGs or something.
@@D4Skewer I think you underestimate just how much fans are willing to put extra content into games. Stuff like Mega Man Maker, Arena, and mods for 8-Bit Deathmatch are very apparent. Yes the rigging and modeling isn't gonna be the easiest thing to do no matter what, but those games and more have a lot more effort being put into them mechanically whereas with stages and characters in X DiVE they don't change much in terms of overall gameplay. I do not doubt that there can be enough Mega Man modders and developers out there that can at least replicate the simplistic style of X DiVE and with it working in a simpler mobile environment, again unlike Mega Man 11 which does have a lot more going for it from a mechanical and software standpoint. As for Stellaris, from what I can see that's because the game has a more specific niche. (Not just because it's a strategy game, but also because it's an indie title) It's not even fair to compare with Mega Man since it is a much bigger franchise with a diehard fanbase. To be honest I've never even heard of that game until you mentioned it, but thanks for bringing it to my attention!
It's a shame that Crapcom put so much effort into a gaccha mobile game and not an actual Megaman game, but at least the fact that it's now offline means people can use these character models for fan projects.

Say what you want about X Dive this game is a love letter to All megaman fans in some way. I love the X Series the most and seeing them put so much respect on Iris as a character and letting you play with the many alts of Zero we never got to play with freely is so cool. I ALWAYS wanted to use awakened zero from X5 and Absolute Zero on a game other than Command mission
So, that's actually a reference to the first Mega Man X game; the secret capsule had Light as Ryu, and he taught you the Ryu fireball. You had to have collected every other collectable item in the game, beaten all the master robots, and done a weird set of actions repeatedly in a level that required you to die multiple times in order to get it. Oddly, I found it on my own, because I was bored one day and just so happened to die the right way multiple times in the same continue.

The attention to detail this game had was mesmerizing. I'm so glad Capcom played smart in releasing the Offline version; I think it's the closest we'll ever have to a new Megaman X game. Special kudos to you for referencing the official artworks and animations for the characters.
I hope they add the Blade Armor and High Max both from X6, it is weird they added the Falcon, the Gaea, the Shadow and not the Blade. It's also weird we have Gate and not High Max. I love how Magmard Dragoon is the only stage boss recreated here out of all the 8 stage bosses from every game. It's the favorite one, haha.
They really only added ONE animal-style Reploid? And it's just the Street Fighter reference? Geez. Aile but no Vent. Leviathan and Harpuia but no Fafnir or Phantom. Pandora but no Prometheus. Half of it is tie-ins with more popular franchses. I guess it IS a gacha. And boy howdy, I thought Axl's english VA was hard to listen to. Still, great video, excellent choices of music, and the cut-ins to show the inspiration for various animations is a clever touch.
this isnt actually the final roster, 1 because the american version of the game promised original content when they catch up with the taiwan version. and 2 because mmx dive offline, (if the global online version shuts down at some point) doesnt have the crossover characters. but great work man. awesome vid.
For ZX rep they chose Aile and Pandora. Awesome. For ZXA they chose. . . Aile again. Would it have killed them to chose Grey and/or Prometheus? They could have at least completed the set of siblings.
Yeah, it's kinda crazy how ZX only gets 3 unique reps and one of them is just the same character still. Prometheus and Grey shoulda made it in at some point over the years but ig they wouldn't be profitable enough.
Though the dream of Black Ace and Red Joker will fade alongside this game, I know modders are going to have a party with the offline version Stay Strong X Dive 💪
What about Tribe on all from and Star Force all forms and Noise all forms? It's almost like they were forced to confront the fact that Geo is the Strongest and coolest Mega Man yet they decided to go with a bunch on non canon armors for old heads instead of backing the canonical badass 😂🤷♂️🤦🏻😂 shame that's a huge reason this game sucks ass lack of consistency, not to mention lacklustre gameplay.
Understandable you say that, but if you think about it the noise forms would probably just be re-skins of Geo. They may have also just had different stats for each form, but they would be unique adding the Tribe forms and the first three form he had

I kinda believe that X Dive should have been like FGO history-wise, instead of bugs corrupting the data of the games, we, as players, could have fought in those same events that shaped the classic and X timeline, correcting them and all that, the bug-corrupting history just doesn't make me all that invested, dunno, just dumping my thoughts about the game
You know, for a franchise that's known for having some awesome robots, this game sure had a strange fascination with the female characters instead. 💀 Hopefully mods for Offline will make it even better. Considering that this was a mobile game, I expect there to be a lot more interesting new characters even with unique animations, sounds, and weapons in the future. (I don't know anything about modding but I'd imagine it'll at least be a lot easier to mod for this than something like Mega Man 11 for example)
There's literally hundreds of characters you could add from the classic and X related series' alone btw, *hundreds.* And don't even get me started on stuff like non-canon games, cartoons, comics, scrapped bosses, alternate designs, even quite a few fan made ones from a good amount of fan games, etc.
The thing about modding is that unless you got talented model artists (3D Models) who know a thing about rigging and doing animations, etc, mods won't take off aside from stat changes and maybe imports if that kind of thing is possible.
Take Stellaris for example which is a highly moddable game on steam, most new graphical additions are imports and even then there aren't a lot of them. Most mods apply PNGs or something.
@@D4Skewer I think you underestimate just how much fans are willing to put extra content into games. Stuff like Mega Man Maker, Arena, and mods for 8-Bit Deathmatch are very apparent. Yes the rigging and modeling isn't gonna be the easiest thing to do no matter what, but those games and more have a lot more effort being put into them mechanically whereas with stages and characters in X DiVE they don't change much in terms of overall gameplay. I do not doubt that there can be enough Mega Man modders and developers out there that can at least replicate the simplistic style of X DiVE and with it working in a simpler mobile environment, again unlike Mega Man 11 which does have a lot more going for it from a mechanical and software standpoint. As for Stellaris, from what I can see that's because the game has a more specific niche. (Not just because it's a strategy game, but also because it's an indie title) It's not even fair to compare with Mega Man since it is a much bigger franchise with a diehard fanbase. To be honest I've never even heard of that game until you mentioned it, but thanks for bringing it to my attention!
It's a shame that Crapcom put so much effort into a gaccha mobile game and not an actual Megaman game, but at least the fact that it's now offline means people can use these character models for fan projects.

Say what you want about X Dive this game is a love letter to All megaman fans in some way. I love the X Series the most and seeing them put so much respect on Iris as a character and letting you play with the many alts of Zero we never got to play with freely is so cool. I ALWAYS wanted to use awakened zero from X5 and Absolute Zero on a game other than Command mission
I made a joke a couple years ago about getting Dr. Light as Ryu, but I never thought that would be a real thing.
So, that's actually a reference to the first Mega Man X game; the secret capsule had Light as Ryu, and he taught you the Ryu fireball. You had to have collected every other collectable item in the game, beaten all the master robots, and done a weird set of actions repeatedly in a level that required you to die multiple times in order to get it.
Oddly, I found it on my own, because I was bored one day and just so happened to die the right way multiple times in the same continue.

The attention to detail this game had was mesmerizing. I'm so glad Capcom played smart in releasing the Offline version; I think it's the closest we'll ever have to a new Megaman X game. Special kudos to you for referencing the official artworks and animations for the characters.

I hope they add the Blade Armor and High Max both from X6, it is weird they added the Falcon, the Gaea, the Shadow and not the Blade. It's also weird we have Gate and not High Max.
I love how Magmard Dragoon is the only stage boss recreated here out of all the 8 stage bosses from every game. It's the favorite one, haha.

this isnt actually the final roster, 1 because the american version of the game promised original content when they catch up with the taiwan version. and 2 because mmx dive offline, (if the global online version shuts down at some point) doesnt have the crossover characters. but great work man. awesome vid.

It's almost like they were forced to confront the fact that Geo is the Strongest and coolest Mega Man yet they decided to go with a bunch on non canon armors for old heads instead of backing the canonical badass 😂🤷♂️🤦🏻😂 shame that's a huge reason this game sucks ass lack of consistency, not to mention lacklustre gameplay.
Understandable you say that, but if you think about it the noise forms would probably just be re-skins of Geo. They may have also just had different stats for each form, but they would be unique adding the Tribe forms and the first three form he had
