I just realized that whole "worldline changes to where 'A' doesn't exist" comes off wrong. "A" doesn't disappear, everyone's memories change to show "A" having dies, where as the original worldline would have had "A" remain alive and the memories unchanged. How I always took it, considering future info in the show.
The thing that blows my mind is that John Titor is not something this anime made up. It actually happened in the real world. A dude appeared on the net around 2000's and searched for an IBM 5100 while saying that he is a time traveler.
And it was later discovered that the reason why John Titor wanted the IBM 5100 was for a reason that nobody knew was possible until after he mentioned it, not even the creators of the 5100.
@@albababtout8158 "The IBM 5100 did, indeed, contain functionality that was hidden from the public. If you like shows where different plot connect to each other, you would definitely like Durarara. I really love SG putting some urban legend/rumors in real life to its plot
I watched Steins Gate in both sub and dub. Unlike other anime where it feels like the english dub is trying to capture the feel of the sub, the dub is Steins Gate has it own flavor distinct from the sub. I enjoyed the earlier episodes (which some find boring) and was never much confused per se, more like curious and engaged. It was nice to revisit and notice all the hints.
@@RenderingUser I have seen people say the first half is boring. If not, they go - just wait, half way through it gets good. I don't think they mean to discredit those earlier episodes. But it does give the impression that they didn't much like those eps very much. As for me, promise, build up, turning point, climax, and pay off. I enjoyed every step of it.
Luke, gotta say, Steins;Gate is a show that you gotta pay attention to. You could get totally ruined for understanding if you miss any of the 14,869 vital details. Also, I remember the John Titor thing. I got hella wrapped up in some if the potential ramifications of what "he" talked about. I really want to watch this live with you but time constraints make it impossible (It's 2 AM local time when you stream). I really hope you enjoy the series! It's one of my top 3
If i remember clearly anime is split in to 2 parts one is Steins Gate up to last episode, and then goes Steins Gate 0 and after that Last Episode of Stains Gate goes.

@@tarrok7912 Indeed, I never understand people insisting on watching stuff in the wrong order. See the same crap with games like kingdom hearts too, where they recommend certain games before the other, since it will make more sense. But all it will do is ruin the mystery, plot-twists, wow-factor and sometimes the way it is told to make you feel like you are experience the same confusion/knowledge as the character(s). There is a reason a story is told in the order that they are. Hard to explain, but I'll assume most people get the gist of what I'm saying.

If it's too hard to understand, you can just watch it in dub. Both SUB and DUB are amazing.
