    I am motivated to transition to IT because of the opportunity to think outside the box in order to solve problems. In addition, it provides constant room for learning and growth as tech is always evolving.

    Do you need to know any code to get into the field?

    • @skillrill
      @skillrill  Год назад

      You will be learning Python and SQL from scratch during the class. In general, Manual Testers do need any coding skills. It is mostly the Automation Testers who must know coding.

    Can you become a QA tester with just an Associate Degree?

    • @skillrill
      @skillrill  6 месяцев назад

      Hi! I know a student who passed the interview, got a job offer and has been working in IT with incomplete Associate Degree. Some companies ask for a degree, some don't. Best way to find out is to go to dice.com/jobs, look for QA Analyst, QA Tester, QA Engineer positions and check if they require a degree. Your technical and communication skills play major role in interviews. Good luck in your IT career!

      Thank you for reaching out! Here's how Bootcamp prepares you for the job market. The Bootcamp will provide 1:1 Mock Interviews to the Student for each month of study (4 x 1:1 Mock Interviews). The Bootcamp will review and provide recommendations to enhance the professional quality of the Student’s resume. The Bootcamp will review the Student's LinkedIn profile and provide professional feedback for improvement. The Bootcamp will provide additional guidelines for any upcoming interviews the Student may have. The Bootcamp will provide 12 months of technical support to the Student upon their entry into the IT field. Technical support includes providing guidance on project-related matters but does not extend to writing scripts on Student's behalf. The Student will apply to job positions in IT field upon completion of the program using job platforms such as
      dice.com, indeed.com, linkedin.com, as well as directly on company websites. Hope this answers your questions. Good Luck in your IT Career!
