@@theministryofsound7448 Main Mode has the time line. From Main Mode, you have access to your FXs and Mixer channel strips. In the FX mode, there is a time line displayed towards the top of each channel strip. They are white / light gray.
Okay but when you are a differnt page it does something else. only on main page the the q link 2nd row and the 2nd if only one q link always do forwar and rewind, this is very huge problem when with reorded audo especially recordings.

You do know that you can set locate points to jump back and forward through a song right? I haven't used it myself, but it should be on the arranger screen. Not sure about other screens. Maybe the MPC One is not the right tool for your needs. You don't unscrew a bolt with a hammer. Make sure you're using the best tool for the task, my friend.
Yes I know but it onley works if you are on the main page, does not in a mixer page like when you are working on efx, eq, compression, the Q link wont forward rewind, and you wont see the timeline too.. you would have to go the main just for the sake taking the song to where you are working on.

The MPC platform was appropriated to cater to the sampling community hence the no fuss approach, just turn it on load some samples and get to making a beat. Manny grammies have been won by sampling artists by the way. MPC is a different way of working bro, that screen can only accommodate so much info. Most DAW users have duo big ass screens to achieve what you are complaining about. The modern way of working in tracking a song always involves setting loop points, this always gets you to that point where you wanna go quickly. Are you aware that you can set loop points in MPC 3.0?

The mpc x has the buttons you speak of as did the mpc 4000, 3000, 60 etc. Your complaints only lack understanding of the model you have selected to purchase. Search out Roger Linn on how how they are supposed to work then return and make a new video.

I am calling out the MPC not being an M P C, what does MPC stands for, make beats and record the rest in a computer. No producer produces groundbreaking hits with sampling in the MPC and record the vocals everything in the MPC. No there is none, because it is too cumbersome to do, but Akai refuse to put all the right features.mAnd we musicians are telling them. The tape is because the white light of the buttons are too bright, most machines use yellow light, Akai doesnt even know anymore, because they dont use these machines, many people found a way to change those, so I place little tape to dim the sharp bright light.

I really think you should watch tutorial videos because as I watch you complain I notice you just don't know how to use the machine. Also most things you complain about is solved using the software. Also the MPC has always been based on looped drums, so when using the hardware that's the focus you want better linear recording its best when linked to the software. Its not what you like because its not for you. It also seems you don't understand MPC terminology because in some cases MPC has its own language that has been used for 50years so you must learn it. Most of your complaints are answered in tutorial videos from other RUclipsrs. Learn your machine.

The only problem I agree with is his play start button, Ive never seen that ever on any MPC ever.I do agree with rewinding in the mixer view but that is solved by put the Bar:Beat:Tick meter on most screens. But he keeps complaining but never tap the bar:beat:tick meter where the red outliner is around it and turn the data wheel. Thats how you rewind. In his videos he does the samething but with a different function. He needs to learn the machine.
Talking some sense into this generation where innovation is no where, people wont create, people wont have patience to pay attention to detail, excellence is now now needed, just use AI to wite you a script, or use samples to make your beat a little more authentic because you are lazy, impatient, or not authentic. Dude, have you read the actual manual? At the top of the touch screen us a bar you tap and drag. It will 'rewind' from you. Musicians can also purchase the flagship MPCX for physical buttons. I have 3.4 installed on the MPC Live I. The [PLAY START] button will start playing from the START field every time you press it. Could be something specific to your MPC.

You can get yourself a 'flagship' MPC which has physical buttons for you to rewind. Or you can use your current model which in 3.x beta has a bar at the top of the touch screen where you can drag down and gain access to the 'rewind' functions. Ignorant? I know how to 'rewind' and you don't. That would be you are the one who is ignorant and getting emotional for nothing. If you need help using your MPC....let me know.

MPC's transport is maybe my favorite feature. Play/Start working correctly here in v3.4.
My Renaissance has that feature.

Please try rcord some live guitar and vocal use all 8 tracks and edit everything mix it to perfection, and you will THEN see everything am saying. So keep quiet if you just making some 4 bar loops and joining sequecnes together, with samples here and there and think this is all everybody will do on the MPC
You think I dont know you can use the top bar scrolling with your finger, you think I dont know that. like what is wrong with some people like you. I think most people have only used Akai all their lives, or these new MPC s is their first experience with hardware studio in a box, so whan am saying something is not right, they think no, this is fantastic. till you use any Roland VS series or MC series you will realize MPC is archaic.
you cant even save a sample or copy what is in the mpc to a connected thumb, they purposely left out the copy.

You likely can't name an MPC that I haven't owned / used. You are incorrect...there is plenty of things that need to be improved.
Your video talks about 'rewinding.' You can get yourself a 'flagship' MPC which has physical buttons for you to rewind. Or you can use your current model which in 3.x beta has a bar at the top of the touch screen where you can drag down and gain access to the 'rewind' functions.
Ignorant? I know how to 'rewind' and you don't. That would be you are the one who is ignorant and getting emotional for nothing.
