I put 5.25" skar in my rears , 6.5" skar in the front. Used the factory mounts in the back ,modified. Red wolf 6.5" brackets for the front. Don't buy Scosche brackets they suck. fyi anybody looking to do this.

I just noticed those 6.5 speakers have the positive and negative terminals about the same size and the adapter has one that's very thin and it's too small for the negative side, how'd you work that out?
I can save a couple bucks and modify my old brackets. I notice old brackets snap into doors, does anyone,you notice any rattles,rattling from the snap ins? You made it look easy.
Did you notice a difference like much louder and clear I recently got skar mid range and I can’t notice a difference I prefer the stock ones there way louder at like 15 volume compared to the new ones having to turn it up all the way 🙄Any recommended speakers not to pricey like apocalypse
Great video! Used it to install mine. But I had a question. I put in 4 6.5" speakers in my Silverado. I connected all the speakers pos to pos and neg to neg using female spade connectors. I put in all 4 speakers and the voice sounds loud but they have absolutely no bass. IS that how these speakers are or do you think I may have connected them wrong? I used a diagram I found online for wiring
I got the exact same ones with the wiring harness but the harness doesn’t go in bc one of them is big the other one is small and on the speaker they are both big

Hey. Bro I honestly didn't have any issues with the wiring on the ds18s they plugged right in.
How’d you get the speaker to stick to the old bracket?? I did the same thing but I can’t get get it to stay
I used screws to screw to the bracket from the lip I left

I actually did hear a difference bro more voice wich is is what I wanted since I am adding some subwoofers.
