- In this video I build on the framework I talked about in my last video, which was Part 1 of my series on FUN homeschool co-ops (be sure to watch Part 1 if you missed it!) This time I've got lots of hands-on paperwork examples to help you get off on the right foot, plus plenty of tried-and-true tips on planning and organization!
I've participated in, founded, and led several co-ops through the years, so everything I share with you comes from personal experience. While academic-based co-ops are all the rage right now, my kids and I can tell you that FUN is the place to be! A co-op can be the best part of your homeschool journey, so let me give you the tools you need to succeed!

Awesome information, very relevant and helpful thank you!!!!
You are so kind! I'm delighted I was able to bring you helpful info!
Thanks for the video, Diana. Really helpful and watching you getting excited over homeschooling is inspiring.
Thanks so much for this I could watch your videos all day I love your voice and enthusiasm 😊
Thank you so much for making this! I had no idea 💡. This will help our group so much!
Really useful! Thank you so much!!!
I wish there were editable templates to all these forms you listed! Great overall information! Thank you.
So...this reply is a year late (the best laid plans of mice and men!) but I do have templates if you still need them :)
I would also benefit from the templates, if you are willing to share! Should I email you?
Can you say more about developing a leadership team and how to change the team?
I'd start by coming up with VERY clear job descriptions for every member of the leadership team. Feathers get ruffled when people don't understand their roles within the team! I'd also hold regular meetings to ensure relaxed, timely communication. The biggest problem I see in co-ops is when one or two leaders decide it's "their way or the highway", usually because they believe they are taking up the slack created by others not doing what they should be. Good communication will put that to rights. This all also helps when the team needs a change in personnel. It's much easier to identify problems based on who is (or is not) meeting the needs of a defined role, and much easier to make a change when issues have been openly discussed and the group has tried to problem solve as a team.
This is very helpfull for me. Can you share the forms?
So...I am really late on this reply (classroom teaching stole my life!), but if you still need any of the forms I do have them to share.
Find the music a bit too loud kind of distracting from the information being shared
Thank you for the feedback! I will definitely tone the music down!
