I love to watch you cook... You remind me of how my mother cooked. She would substitute ingredients or add/subtract ingredients to suit her or what we had. I don't think she ever made a dish exactly the same as before. She loved to "read" cookbooks and had acquired a collection of them. I wish I had paid better attention to her "recipes," but she passed when I was 23. I think I stick mostly to a recipe because I'm unsure or maybe I'm afraid I would ruin it...LOL! 🌻
