usually like the guests but found this guy a bit pretentious. he tried to present himself as the sharpest guy in the room but was wildly incoherent when attempting to explain anything. and it felt like he was lecturing pat instead of having a conversation. like i’m sorry random horse guy did you win bbm3?
@@albertmeuse2728 haha, I described him the exact same way. Didn't see your comment. Didn't he call himself a numbers junky? He brought no numbers or insight at all.
I disagree, he really just sticks with his guys and has strong takes, I prefer that. The two obviously have two different drafting styles and both have been successful.
@@brooklynalldaybrooklynalln4254 I didn't hear any strong takes. Saying you're down on the Phins because he thinks Tua will get hurt is a very casual take that would have had more credence last year before playing a full healthy season. Strong takes come with rationale and numbers to back them up. I'm glad you took something out of it but I didn't.
My worry about a Jacobs fade, which I somewhat been doing, is something we always come back to at the end is oh ya take good players on good teams and great offenses.
@@brooklynalldaybrooklynalln4254People go so overboard when it comes to trying to evaluate RB talent, it's such a valuable backfield to get touches in, he will get touches, and likely a bunch of high value touches. It's not that complicated.
I think the idea that all of your players need to finish Top 12 at position to win the whole thing really has merit. How do you tell the story that each player you take does that is a story that wins the tourney over increased advance rates.
Love listening to different perspectives. However, takes like fading MIA pass catchers because he’s predicting a Tua injury and selecting RB’s based on perceived strength of schedule feels like so much overconfidence in predicting total chaos.
respect the takes and how he organizes his process, I'm definitely more queasy on TB this year though. I'm more willing to have 4-5 40-50% guys but I'm also relatively unhinged lol.
I actually think he makes a good point about the gsme theory at the end. At a certain point, people should just take naked stroud, at some percentage of the time as he slides past ADP, the further he falls, the more likely you should be to do it. Im back stacking so often late myself, that I should acutally be doing it more.
Great pod. Love the differing viewpoints

Not sure how that was your takeaway at all

No but wins consistently .

Bring on more sharps

Is he a good player, and is he on a great offense, those are still big questions
@@benhavard1263Well no shit those are the questions. What I was obviously saying is that I'm worried the answers are yes.
@shonuff4855 I don't understand why people are fading him, I get him in the 5th round, sometimes 6th often
@@brooklynalldaybrooklynalln4254 Ive started grabbing him more and more lately where I can.

Great listen! Feeling better about my 0% Henry, Mixon, and Jacobs after listening to Christian
RIP
This was by far the best podcast of the season on this channel, thanks !!
Very pretentious interview. Good for dude for all his success at horse race betting. But I'd go heads up against him in anything football related.
Lol he also has finished high in main event

Anytime this wagon wants to draft best ball, happy to take his action. A knowitall who shows that he knows nothing is the worst
This guy has the confidence of a much better strategist with far stronger decision making rationale. Appreciate the differing viewpoints though.
In this video Pat made a great point about unlocking “another level” in players like Waddle
I feel my body when I poop and draft. Zen i think they call it?
Really enjoyed this episode. Christian has some super interesting perspectives
When you do Del Mar ... I wanna meet up. Maybe we can get Jon Boy Beats too and make it a whole thing.
Christian Hellmers is legit awesome. Great episode.

Tesla-this is how he received a lot of his ideas..Downloaded while dreaming.
Go Bills won with Mahomes/Kelce/McKinnon all 3 weeks.
Really enjoyed this one. Christian is a very sharp well spoken guy.
Great guest
30% Diontae is crazy. Love the horse racing expertise, though.
When he finishes a top ten WR let’s see your comment then
