I wish mick new the truth that it was janine that started linda drinking again ,I don't like the way the writters make caracters struggle and just bring in janine to distroy them I supposeit stopped the struggling. .i adored the carters and the way they stuck together but the show must go on and move forward.
I don't see why she left. She couldn't stick it through and left her mom at the hands of Janine and Franky the oh so special child that seemingly replaced Nancy overnight just because she's deaf and the child of Mick's abuse. And Janine who only loves Mick because the carpark scam with Liam and Jay fell through and she needed the Vic to gain her piece of control over Walford. Linda deserves way better, for Janine to be found out and ridiculed. Linda is an alcoholic not a monster, Janine is the monster, whos killed and scammed her way through husbands before and to let her get away with this all the way till next Christmas is poor writing on the teams part. Glorifying a woman like Janine who has no remorse over Linda who's only reason for drinking currently was 1. Micks revelation that Frankie is his daughter and his abuse by his social worker happened at 12 2. She went to Max for a brief moment of comfort because Mick couldn't/didn't know how t handle the abuse, Frankie's berating/nagging at him to acknowledge her Max stalking her and Katey coming back 3.Rainie threatening to tell everyone Annie wasn't Mick's to bring Max back essentially trading Linda's mental health for Abbie But oh no Linda's the monster for feeling afraid, isolated, and abandoned???? she tried to be there for Mick but he pushed HER away. Only to fall for Janine? Piss poor writing

Before she left with Annie her drinking was because Mick kept Linda at arms length well before Annie was ever conceived Remember????? Linda tried so hard to be there once Mick finally told her what was going on with him Frankie kept hanging around berating Mick once she saw he didn't somehow automatically step up as her dad. He stood up for Linda then, even suggested she go to her mom's to get some space after rainie threatened to call Max to tell him that in exchange for Abbie Annie was his baby and not Mick's How is that making Linda the monster???? We all saw her try to reach out to Mick, and even after Max she was sorry, admits the truth and it's Mick who acts like he's the only victim????
