@@rctopfueler2841 Not really, I was thinking more along the lines of pure fun and a motor sport which reflects driver skill and ability, rather than mechanical advantage being the prime decider.
@@Wheels-Wheels-WheelsLeave it to someone to come ruin it just like kart racing I know a guy who raced as a kid he said it got toxic even people beating each other with helmets and other foul behavior.
Just came across this video through the wonders of the RUclips algorithm. I'm a very active motorcycle rider (on & offtoad) but this looks like a lot of fun too ! I have put it on my bucketlist !
This looks like 'repeated' fun.. Probably the most relaxing fun loving sport activity there is.... Let alone building ones own...but a mini replica on top of that. As they say, 'less is more'. Great video...😂
I don't know why but these cars are extremely appealing...thanks for sharing. The guy with the fenders/mudguards wins the race and the award I've just invented for design common-sense!
My favourite race cars are Grand Prix formulas from 1920' and 1930'. This - old-fasioned monoposts, dirt track, "nascar" oval - that's exactly what i want to do in motorsport. Love it!
The simplicity is brilliant. This is motors racing for the masses as it should be. I also love the stick on dials. More please (but no glass lenses on sunglasses).
I remember wanting to build a car just like this out of scrounged scrapyard bits as a kid! Shame I never got any further than drawing comics about the races.
what you mean Real Racing ? its like lawn mower racing with girls bicycle tires and courtesy rules about passing ,what you guys running there the predator 212? or maybe a honda 7hp off a pressure washer? im suprised there wasnt a tea time break half way thru lol
I love how the camera somehow avoided getting completely covered in mud through that whole race. *the algorithm decided we should all see this today... and it was right. *
We seem to be doing it on kart circuits in the UK but this rough track racing looks more fun to me; my design is still drifting around in my thoughts but I think it will be on paper soon as it looks so much fun.
Been racing small engines all my life this looks like a hoot. How would you boys feel about racing against a lawn mower? I'm all over the west coast, with bikes, mowers, go carts, and 1/4 midgets. I hope you and yours are warm and happy, have fun.
its dirt track racing with out the high cost$, with out the pressure to keep sponsors, with out the 24/7 commitment of your time, with out the crew of people to keep you running. your getting all the thrill of racing and none of the hardship involved with running a competitive race car. not to mention these cars are raced on any track or surface with out having to set them up .what more could you want?
Looks like a blast! You're racing line is off though. You take the inside too early making you lose your momentum by the time you exit the corner. Try cutting in about 2/3 through the corner.
There is the one day they have a fatal crash where one cycle kart goes airborne and flips then lands upside down on top of another cycle kart and both cycle karts are engulfed in a gigantic fireball because they do not have roll cages.
This what I imagine the cars of the future will look like: small, lightweight, and low to the ground. Better for fuel efficiency, safer for other more vulnerable road users.
This looks so much fun, and exactly what motor sport should be.
what boring and pointless?

@@Wheels-Wheels-Wheels so oval racing and dirt racing, thats how I like it
something like this with a point to point course would be a blast. just a motorsport with little to no barrier of entry and cheap to participate in.
lots more racing on my channel on other tracks
Looks reasonably safe too considering. Things happen still but the speeds arent too fast
What NASCAR used to be like from what I’ve heard.
I like how there's a dog greeting all the racers at the end of the race.
dogs are always good :)
😂
this dog is the best racer !
They didn't let him race because he run too fast
more races need that

I love this intersection between historical reenactments and racing!
Old school, simple , wont break the bank and bags of fun, I love it !
This is real racing, and doesn’t get better. No need for anything else for real.
agree, just a few more corners would be nice...
maybe a 10-15 hp more
Everybody in Cyclekart gangsta ‘til Red Bull show up and start dominating everything

Every gocart track in America should have this class. Low budget and lots of fun.
Track builder: "how many left turns do you want?"
Racers: "yes"
This is exactly the type of track I wanted as a kid with a quad. That's awesome, and those contraptions yall made are amazing!
good stuff. blue's camber settings won the race
Looks like Speedway on four wheels, Brilliant xxx❤
a race from Mafia 1 in the real world
Thin tyres, variable surface, light vehicles. A great recipe for some fun racing
I wonder whether anyone would notice if you slipped a Busa plant into that cart? 😆
Looks like a ton of fun! Cheers and thanks from Sydney - Dave
Looks like a return to the roots but better technology.
I'm glad I watched all the way through, the second half had some really close racing! Thanks for sharing.

I didn't know there was an entire sport dedicated to the idea I had in 3rd grade of turning the family lawn mower into a go-kart.
"Wow" was my initial reaction. The slides of sprint cars with the fun of karting.
