    Thank you, thank you Adam for this wonderful recipe! We just had this tonight and it was so good/wonderful/delicious! I followed it almost exactly, though I did add the diced chiles as mentioned (I love chiles!) and I have to say it was one my best meals yet, and so much better than my daughter's crock pot version. I'm new to cooking and I found this pretty easy to make. At first it looked daunting, but really was rather easy - and fun - to make. So for anyone out there thinking about making this, do as Adam says, "Do it, do it now!" You'll be glad you did.

    Hey Adam! Hope you are doing well! I just watched this video and the one for Chicken Kiev. Thank you for both of them. I'm going to be making the second one this weekend. Anywho, I went to Aldi's tonight to get some parsley for the herbed butter. There I saw a single serving of butter chicken with rice in the freezer. I though wth, I'll give it a try. FAR OUT, Brussel Sprout!!! You ain't kiddin' it is fantastic! So now, I'll be on the hunt for some methi-fenugreek or maybe grow my own since the Urban Gardening guy showed me how easy it is. I definitely want to make this butter chicken recipe. Thank you for the videos and recipes. Take care and chat soon! 😊💖🙏

    Love love love Indian food.... Adam--Ever eat (or make) a indian Saagwala / Palak dish (basically a puree cream spicy spinach, with a tasty seasoned meat or whole veggie--like small potatoes, paneeer/cheese cubes or chickpeas )?? That is another SUPER GREAT DELICIOUS dish to expand your indian dish recipe repitoirel. But one that is little known. If I could only have one cuisine for ever - it would be Indian. Great job here!

      One of my favourites this. I think you'll like it. It's optional but well worth blending the sauce before you add butter and cream and pass through a sieve. You get a much more smooth texture

    • @Adam_Garratt
      @Adam_Garratt  Год назад +1

      Give it a go! A tip though, it's worth the effort of blitzing the sauce and passing through a sieve for extra smoothness. Also, garnish with some diced raw red onion. It works so well with the rich buttery curry

    • @Adam_Garratt
      @Adam_Garratt  Год назад

      Oh no! Sorry to hear that! I hope you get better soon x. Couple of tips for you when making this. It's so much better if you blend the sauce smooth and pass through a sieve. I use a stick blender, it's effort but worth it because you get a really nice smooth luxurious sauce. Also, Use red onions not brown or white as they are just better in Indian food. Save a little chopped raw onion for the end as garnish as well. There's something satisfying about the sweet, sharp onion with the rich buttery curry.

    A quick tip when making garlic/ginger paste: make a biggish batch, about 175g each of garlic and ginger mix with water then put it in a silicon ice cube tray and freeze it. Each cube will be about a tablespoon. Once frozen put it in a ziplock bag in freezer. Oh another tip don't use the tray for ice cubes cos you can't get the smell of ginger/garlic out of the tray 😂

    Methi will be the death of me! Since you mentioned Butter Chicken in the last Friday night stream catch-up, and then it was in the news last week because of the lawsuit about its origin going on in India, I thought "it's a sign, I must make it now!" Well I couldn't find fenugreek leaves after traipsing all over town and so tried ordering some from Mr Jeff Bezos's boutique online store. First order placed and they changed the delivery to the middle of March(!??). Tried another and it was out of stock. "Third time's the charm" they say. Well now I have so much of it that I could supply every Indian restaurant within a 20 mile radius for the next six months! My silly fault, should have checked the quantity. Fun and games! Anyhow, the chicken is now marinating and I can't wait for tomorrow night's tea! No doubt it'll be smashing like all your other recipes!
