I FINALLYYY UNDERSTANNDDD! your steps before giving the exact formula helps me get the idea clearly. Thank you a lot. I listened to the class, and searched for many videos on youtube but the way of your teaching is admirable. Precise and concise. YOUU ARE THEEE BEEESSTTT!!
Why do you replace charge Q with the volume charge density at 8:00 , is it because you don't have a point but a whole sphere for charge and the radius is outside your Gauss circle inside the sphere?
For part a, wouldn't the positive electric field coming from the charges outside of the Gaussian surface counteract the positive electric field coming from the charges inside of the Gaussian surface, reducing the net electric field 1.5m away from the center of the sphere?
Hi there! I am having trouble with a similar question and was wondering if you could help? The only difference is that the inside of the sphere is a dielectric medium permittivity Epsilon. How would I go about working with that? do I just replace epsilon_0 with epsilon? Many thanks!
there are a few patent pages and wiki pages that talk about using radiation to increase charged particle density in a region, I am trying to find out why or what the purpose of increasing the charged particle density of the sky above my county, can you help me with this?
2:41 it can be wrong so for gauss law, take the inner surface gausds law and outer surface gauss law, assume the volume of chunk charge as dV and the chunk charge itslef as dQ. dQ / dV = rho so dQ = rho*[dV] then to find total charge, integrate the dQ to Q and intgegrade the surface area [dV] to volume
If I am not mistaken inside the insulating sphere, charges are disturbed inside the volume of the sphere and they are not on the same line so the distance between them and the Gaussian surface won't be equal so the electric field won't be equal. I am quite confused thank you in advance
can you help me with a question of particle loaded which is abandoned in the center of a sphere that had a conical piece removed. A particle is abandoned inside the conical hole and gains speed. the particle is positively charged and the sphere is positively charged to the surface. you could make a video just by explaining the electric force versus distance graph so that I can calculate the work when the particle is expelled. or send your email to me to send the question.pls
I can't understant that why we are using volume for insulating sphere? We are using surface for conducting sphere. What is the difference? So confusing
we use surface for conducting sphere because the charges are on the surface but in insulating surface the charge is uniformly distributed inside the volume

plzzzz you've helped me so much in my entire high school years. I can't thank you enough. BUT THANK YOU
This explained Gauss' Law amazingly! Thank you! I think I am ready for my exam! :D
Don't know why this popped up in my recomended.....but hey now I know stuff
god wanted you to check out his videos
Or we can say AI wanted you to watch this video
Very very helpful.... Pls do more on physics
U are the god of universal teaching committee
He is the best science teacher.
Thank you so much. Hope GOD really makes your life better and easier than how you made mine. Thank again
a trick : you can watch movies at flixzone. Me and my gf have been using them for watching a lot of movies during the lockdown.
@Quincy Finnley Yup, been using Flixzone for years myself =)

for the equation he gave on 9:50, when i apply it to part a why doesnt it give me the same answer?
These ticking sounds are perfect ❤
so much better than my prof, thank god
Thanks for the 18 points, king.
thanks man am getting good grades in my physics....keep it up
I like all your vids. Keep it up bro!
For part a, wouldn't the positive electric field coming from the charges outside of the Gaussian surface counteract the positive electric field coming from the charges inside of the Gaussian surface, reducing the net electric field 1.5m away from the center of the sphere?
you are literally a life saver, thank you so much
Thank you very much ❤
Why is Q enclosed = Q total × (V of gaussian surface/ V of sphere)?
does the density always be positive? even if the sphere has a negative charge?
My favorite RUclipsr:>
great video, thanks
Anytime
Thanks brother... ♥️

That is what I would do if I encountered that problem
Yeah
thanks very much it is really helpful
Why do some sources say the electric field inside a conductor is 0 but others say the electric field inside is kqr/R^3???
there are a few patent pages and wiki pages that talk about using radiation to increase charged particle density in a region, I am trying to find out why or what the purpose of increasing the charged particle density of the sky above my county, can you help me with this?
this vids are the only reason why its feasible for me to study last minute and still do decent

What is there is a charge in the cavity of an insulator?
Tamoor 622498 is it the point charge
which metals have E=0 in them and which ones don't?
the E is 0 inside any material that allows the flow of electric charges ( conductors)
appreciate the help but i’m seriously about ready to drop engineering because of this class and calc 2. I can’t take it anymore i feel like a failure.
i love this man!!!
question a and b are the same so you can use both formula doesn't matter?

Roaa Hedaya assuming charges are distributed equally I think
WHY is it sometimes we use 4PIr^2(area) and sometimes 4/3PIr^3(volume)?
Area = circle
Volume = sphere
These are different shapes and have different formulas
there is a beautiful derivation of this google it
Why is it 4pi.r^2 not pi.r^2 ?
@@vietnamsciencetoylab5846 because it's a sphere not a circle
Thank You
It helped a lot. :)
this is so helpful
Are we ignoring relative permittivity (Er)?
Have an ap physics c test tomorrow on this stuff 😫
thank you so much.

At 2:32 where is 4/3π coming from?
The volume of any sphere is 4/3Pi * r^3
Thank you kindly
thanks! You make it very clear!
thanks

@@selinylmaz3069 you are welcome
hey how is K=9*10^9
it is a constant.
thanks again bud!
how is Q enc= QTxVg/Vs??? help please!! :)
you only want the charge in the gausses volume. think of it as a percentage , the vg is the value over 100% AKA vs
Is there a reason why cant we use the standard formula for an electric field E = Kq/r^2 ?
Wait I just realized its distributed evenly throughout the volume rather than being a point charge.

Are you a professor?
why r = 3 if the surface is insulating
