Fantastic ! Cant remember so much greenery. We were always scraping tons of Soltau mud off the bridge.

I don't. But then I tend to remember why my knees ache, why my back is going, why my toes hurt in cold weather and how and why I got the scar over my eye.

Sterling...God I remember my dad had one in his pictures from Desert Storm.
EDIT - My god were they .303 MG'S on the AVRE Cupola?

4:58 No, Browning .30". This was a period of flux for British AFV mgs. The Centurion, Saracen, Saladin, Ferret etc were all from the Browning era. The Centurion was L7 7.62mm GPMG era but early versions also had a Browning .50" ranging mg as well as coaxial and cupola GPMGs. Meanwile the cupola weapon for FV 433 Abbott was still the L4 LMG (the Bren re-chambered for 7.62mm). Supply chain nightmare I would imagine!
